I'll look over the window tonight
And observe the stars, thinking one it's you.
I should have stayed longer that time
But who knew it would have been the last?
Time is unpredictable
And I'm indictable
I'm guilty
Of never considering the consequences
Of never trusting my own senses
Take me to court and sentence me.
When I'll see the nightly bright sky
I'll pray for you
And I promise one day I'll come back to you
I'll ask dad your favourite flower
And I'll take it to you.
Time is unpredictable
And so is life
Still, it's no excuse
I'm still guilty
Of never considering the consequences
Of never trusting my own senses.
Time made me pay for my crime,
sentenced me with a life in regret.
But I'll be better.
I'll do better.
I hope love and light reach you
