15-Dizzy juice

"Where are you off to?" mother asked, cutting fruit

"hang out with Kiri" I replied, my mouth full of papaya that I had just previously stolen from her cutting board, nearly slicing my fingers in the process.. i swear to Eywa she was trying.

"I wouldn't hang out with her, she's abnormal" she scoffed

"well I'm not you," I said smiling at her while I said that to make her less mad... or try too

"don't talk back to me like that," she said putting down her knife

"of course"

I walked out and sighed to myself, when I walked outside I immediately saw Neteyam and Lo'ak sitting up to the wall of their hut, "hey!" I called waving at them

"heyy" Lo'ak yelled standing up straight away and running towards me, that boy can run "i'm off, he made me wait with him so it wouldn't seem as if we were waiting for you" and with that, he ran off. I giggled to myself as I watched Neteyam slowly walk toward me.

"Could you be any slower?" I asked as he was taking his time aka barely moving

"I'm sure I could"

"so were you waiting for me?"

"no- I, yeah, and what about it?" he said brushing it off, I tried to hide my smile by biting the inside of my cheek but it wasn't working so I turned around and started to walk away, "hey!"

"don't just go!"

"well cmon then!". He did a little awkward run till he was next to me

"you're coming to hang out tonight right?" I asked, Aonung and his shitty friends got ahold of some juice that is supposed to make you dizzy and make everything around you... cool? I'm not sure exactly what he was talking about but that seems to be it.

"why is it that you guys always hang out at night?" he asked sounding genuinely confused, bless his soul

"oh does that mess with your sleep schedule?" I snickered

"oh cmon" he laughed nudging my shoulder

"anyway I'm going this way," I said pointing to a turn coming up

"What? Are you not coming to the gathering?"

"nope, me and Kiri decided to skip" his eyes widened and he sighed jokingly

"so waited for you for no reason?" I tried to hide the ridiculous smile that I felt take over my face, once again

"I guess so," I said looking up at him grinning, letting my smile show just a little... trying to keep it subtle

he rolled his eyes and walked off "See ya later then" he called not facing me, I waited a while waiting to see if he would look back but he didn't, I hopped away in hopes that even tho he was several feet away he would still look back eventually.

"That's so cool!" I said glancing up at her from the sand I was drawing on, i made a stick na'vi with a tail as long as mine. And it was beautiful. I guess i'm carrying some of my mothers genes after all.

"you'll have to teach me sometime"

Kiri was just telling me that they usually just braid their hair instead of someone doing it for them, I feel kinda stupid for not thinking of that before. I mean I'll still stick to Asta'e, but I wouldn't mind learning.
