Fae'liin

When mother came home yesterday we made sure to be on the floor doing something but when she walked in i could tell something was off, and i think Fæmer did too. Mother didn't say a word when she walked in, "hello mother" i said trying to sound positive "go away" she said looking me right in the eye, it was scary seeing mother looking so... anxious?  "GET OUT." she screamed slamming her hand on one of the weapon counters, me and Fæmer got out of there as soon as we could. With tears in my eyes we stood in front of our hut not knowing what to do, "cmon Fae" he said grabbing my hand walking up toward the roots. 

"at least she didn't notice your face" i said after we had been sitting in silence for a few minutes "i had a story ready tho" he said "oh yeah, go on" I said looking at him, he was sitting just beside me "so i was out with the boys and Rotxo tripped me and i fell face flat on some rocks" he said looking back at me "i bet she'd find something wrong with that story" i said looking away from him and to the ocean "probably" we didn't speak any more than that. 

That was yesterday though, new day new.. something

"Hi Kiri," i said walking past her, she smiled in response "bye Kiri" I am on my way to meet up with Tsireya, Aonung, Rotxo and Fæmer. 

"Hey guys," i said walking toward them "you look dreadful," i said referring to Aonung's face "gee Fae cut me some slack" he said with a mocking tone, i playfully smiled at him looking at his big purple bruise on his cheek "okay stop your making it seem as if it's the worst thing ever" he said lightly pushing my head, "okay are we going to go or what" Rotxo said impatiently "wait is Tsireya not coming?" i asked them confused, they didn't respond and just looked around at each other "i don't want to go with you losers" i said jokingly, they just looked at me with a sarcastic smile "ha ha"

"she said she'd be here" Fæmer claimed "you guys can go, i'll wait here to see if she shows up and if she doesn't i'll come find you" i said walking over to one of the bigs rocks and sat down "you sure?" Fæmer asked squinting his eyes "yeah you guys go ahead" i said.

It has been around 10 minutes and no sign of Tsireya, she loves going out to play, yeah we go out and play, fight and splash around like kids, and it's so fun. 

I might as well just go but honestly i don't really feel like it, iv'e been trying to block mother out of my head but it's difficult. Her voice just seems to echo in my mind, screaming at me.

Suddenly i heard a whistle from a distance, i looked to see where it came from and saw it was Neteyam, he waved at me and came running towards me "hey" he said taking a seat next to me "hey" "so what are you doing here sitting all alone? you know your social status might go down to loser if you just sit here all day" he said mocking me, i smacked his shoulder and let out a small laugh, i needed that. "i'm waiting for Tsireya, she was supposed to meet me and the boys here earlier" i said "oh well she won't be coming, her and Lo'ak are up to something" he said "damn"  said, a frown settling on my face "do you guys have papaya? we're out" i suddently asked looking at him "yeah" he laughed "you hungry?" "yeah cmon imma steal a papaya from you guys" i said standing up and grabbing him by the hand dragging him up on his feet. 

"here" he said handing me a papaya "thanks" i said smiling at him before scooping myself a bite. "where were you and the others going?" he asked sounding unsure if he was allowed to "oh we always go out and play" i said with my mouth full "play?" he asked with a grin on his face "yeah we go to get to act like kids" he laughed "hey! stop laughing its very fun, escaping the responsibilities and that" i said chewing on the delicious papaya "you really shouldn't talk with your mouth full" he said his eyebrows raised "yeahyeah" i said spit slipping out from my mouth and dripping down on my chin "ew!" he said laughing, i wiped it with my forearm and held in my laugh so i wouldn't spit out my papaya.
