"Jakey, guard in training."

"Mario, guard of the palace."

*Bryan's pov*

I don't believe it, another prince!? Here I thought having Devin around was good enough but this? Not to mention the guard and guard in training.

Lucas held Devin close and Devin didn't seem to mind his brother being clingy like this as everyone looked around each other. Also note Devin is small compared to the other merlins

"Well then..." Ritchie cleared his throat feeling the tension and I rolled my eyes before stepping forward and Lucas immediately looked at me with a slight glare

"Hello my name's Bryan it's nice to meet you." I said giving a slight bow and I heard a sigh.

"At least you didn't go further and say prince. I don't like being that formal with people." Lucas said and Devin sighed

"Ya, we would rather not keep a strict hierarchy. Makes everyone comfortable enough while making sure there is a ruler to keep everything in check." Devin said

"Hey guys we can do more introductions inside but we need to hide those four, a crowd is starting to form around the place wondering what kind of attack this is." Marshie said as she came down and I sighed

"If you trust us enough then come inside out of the rain." I said and Lucas looked at Devin and then sighed

"come on" Lucas muttered as Mario and Jakey followed

We all walked inside and Devin took his brother and guards over to his little area and gave them towels to dry off and they were confused until Devin showed them.
Ritchie and Brandon had to go out and calm the situation and Mario said he'll take down the wall later on.

I sat with Kit watching them before Kit nudged my shoulder "what's up?" I asked looking at her

"The more that I think about it, more I think our theory is true about the cursed waters being were the merlin's are living." Kit said as I thought about it

"We did find Devin close to the borders of where the area would be so... Your right it could very well be the homeland and no wonder people have died trying to get there or anchor there. We would be exposing them, and dropping big heavy metal on their homes." I realized

Kit pulled out her book and erased the title cursed waters that she had put over a small map of the area then wrote down merlin homeland.

"Should we really be writing this? What if you lose that book of someone finds it they may actually go out and try to find what's under the waters." I worriedly mentioned as Kit looked down and sighed

"I mean.... I geuss... Man so many things to keep secret..." Kit said as she erased the title again and was about to write when...

"What are you doing?" Lucas asked behind us as Kit jumped as scratched a deep pencil line where she was going to write the old title again as she took a deep breath calming down.

"You startled us!" I said looking at Lucas as he blinked. He still looks really cool in his outfit although without the added features it's hard to say gorgeous because he's not in full merlin form right now. Merlin people are such beautiful creatures when you can see them fully.

"So? What are you doing?" Lucas asked flatly. Ok definitely still bitter at us for taking Devin although then again I would also be if I suddenly found out Kit was taken with a chance of no seeing her again. Ya no I don't like the thought.

"We were just chatting about our research. We had a lot of questions we wanted to answer and ever since seeing Devin a lot of them have been answered." Kit said being as straightforward as possible. Maybe being straightforward is how we make friends with him?

"Ok.... Is that a map of my home waters?" Lucas asked as he reached over and picked up the book and looked at the page. Kit wanted to stop him but didn't.

"Ya it's known as the cursed sea or circle but we figured why things happen it's because it's your home. Anchors being dropped would land on your houses and maybe hurt someone" I said and Lucas looked at me and sighed as he closed the book and gave it back to Kit

"Ya... All of the above is true." Lucas said crossing his arms and I smiled

"Thanks, although I have to ask... Your eyes are blue, weren't they yellow?' I asked and Lucas huffed.

"You mean this?" Lucas closed his eyes and opened them again and they were yellow.

"How do you do that?" Kit asked curiously and Lucas took a step back away from Kit

"My secrets to keep... I'm going back to Devin." Lucas said walking away and walked to Devin and hugged him from behind as Devin simply put his hands on Lucas's.

"Rough huh..." Kit said and I looked at her.

"Ya I geuss so...." I said and sighed
