"Grandpa, everyone keeps saying that I am the 'Chosen One', but what does it really mean? Is it good? Does it mean I'll be someone big when I grow up? Someone rich?" Little Wu Xie asked his grandfather curiously, looking up at the old man with wide doe eyes as he sat on his lap.

"Wu Xie, by Chosen One, we mean that once you grow up, you will be granted a special power. One we don't know." His grandfather replied honestly. In every generation of Wu Xie's family, someone would be granted a unique power, completely different and raw and each power had its own merits and demerits.

"Power?" Little Wu Xie was more interested than ever and his curiosity was as its peak.

"Yes sweetheart, power. Like I said, I don't knoe what type of power, but it'll be magical." The old man replied. Out of all the children of this generation, he loved Wu Xie the most. Mainly because he could see himself in the child. Milky white skin, wide doe eyes, plump lips, puffy cheeks and one heck of a curious mind. Once he would start asking questions, he wouldn't stop and that's what everyone disliked about the cute kid except for his grandad.

"Magical? Grandpa, last question. How did you know that I was the chosen one?" Wu Xie asked and his grandpa smiled.

"Because, we saw the tattoo of a Qilin embedded on your wrist when you were born." His grandfather said and Wu Xie was amazed.

"Remember child, you do not know when you'll trigger the power and if you use it too much, it can be deadly. You have to careful, ok sugar?" The old man said sweetly as he booped the little nose causing little Wu Xie to let out a hearty giggle.

Meanwhile, Pangzi was on the verge of losing his mind as Wu Xie laid there in the ground unconscious. Although Zhang was also panicking, he managed to keep his mindset straight.

"Calm down, he will be okay." Zhang said to Pangzi as his arms were wrapped protectively around the almost lifeless man.

"Hand me the bottle of water." Zhang ordered and Pangzi felt compelled to listen. Although Zhang was scary and gave off an unapproachable vibe, Pangzi felt as if he could trust him, especially after seeing how protective Zhang was towards Wu Xie.

Opening the bottle, Zhang poured a little amount of the water and sprinkled it all over Wu Xie's face.

Come on Wu Xie, wake up....

The water might have been all Wu Xie needed at that point as he coughed, opening and immediately squinting his eyes as the surroundings were too bright for him.

Zhang brought up a hand to shield Wu Xie's eyes as the latter smiled weakly at the older. Zhang felt his breath return to him as he gazed at the weak yet alive man.

"Tianzhen! Oh thank God you're okay! I was so worried. Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Do you need food? Water?" Pangzi bombarded Wu Xie with tons of questions. You couldn't blame him though, he was just afraid for his almost brother.

"What he needs is rest, so could quieten down?" Zhang spoke and although his voice was monotonous, there was a hint of irritation in his voice.

"Calm down Xiaoge, he means no harm." Wu Xie said, giggling quietly as he saw a pout on Pangzi's face. Wu Xie tried to sit up only to feel the world spin again. He clutched his head with one hand as the other reached out to grab the nearest thing next to him, which was none other than Zhang Qiling himself.

"Wu Xie! What's wrong?" Zhang asked worriedly as the latter shook his head dismissively.

"I'm fine, just a little light headed."
