''Father said I would marry the prince but hes been sacked." Cersei hissed. "Come on, I need to know my fate."
"How?"
"By finding a bitch witch to tell me my future, duh." Cersei grumbled as she headed out. Having Avalon living with them, Cersei thought herself an honorary princess because surely they were going to be wed. They shared the same bed, they were inseparable. Tywin was always clinging to Avalon, kissing her openly. But Cersei wanted the real title.
'We shouldn't be out here alone.' Cersei's handmaiden, Clara said looking around nervously.
' Why not?' cersei questioned as they marched through the woods.
'If you father or princess Avalon—'
'He'll never know we're gone.' Cersei assured.
'But if he finds out...'
'You don't need to be afraid of my father.' Cersei told her. 'especially not after I hear what I need to.' the sound of insects buzzing around them as they got deeper into the woods.
'Jaime could have come!" Clara declared. 'he wouldn't tell...' she looked around nervously. "He's brave, I'm not brave Cersei."
'We are here, stop being a baby.' Cersei demanded.
'Are you sure?' Clara whimpered.
''Yes.' Cersei said pompously.
'We shouldn't go in.' Clara said looking to the little hut. 'how did you even know about this place?" Clara questioned.
'Shut up, I have my ways and of course are going in.' The buzzing of the insects, screeches of birds, shrieks and little gasps escaped Claras lips as the woman shot up towards them.
'Get out. Get out!!' she demanded Clara grabbed Cersei's arm pulling her.
'Let's go.' Clara agreed.
'No.' Cersei said defiantly.
'Listen to your friend.' The witch agreed.
'They said that you were terrifying with cat's teeth and three eyes. You're not terrifying. You're boring.' Cersei declared.
'Cersei!' Clara shouted still tugging on her arm.
'You don't know what I am.''
''I know you're a witch and you can see the future. Tell me mine.' Cersei demanded.
'I'm sorry, we are leaving!" Clara begged but cersei was stubborn.
'Everyone wants to know their future until they know their future.' The witch corrected.
''This is our father's land. My land. Tell me my future or I'll have your two boring eyes gouged out of your head.' Cersei spat.
"I'm so sorry, she does not mean that!' Clara insisted thinking she was going to die too.
"Yes I do.' Cersei said bitterly. But the witch just chuckled.
'Your blood.' The witch instructed.
"Hello Sandor," Avalon coed, he offered her a small smile. "I hope you dont mind, Tyrion wanted to play with the pups." Sandor looked to a little Tyrion running around chasing after the hounds.
"It's no problem princess." Sandor assured. She ran a gentle hand over his head and he leaned into her. He didnt have a mother, he liked that Avalon took that role on herself, to look out for him, to check on him, like she knew even before that he needed a friend.
The witch grabbed cersei's hand.
'Give me a taste.' She bite cerseis hand and Cersei whimpered out. 'Three questions you get. You won't like the answers.'
''I heard my father talk of marriage to a prince, I've basically been promised to the prince. When will we marry?' Cersei said right away.
''You will never wed the prince. You will wed the king.'
''But I will be queen?' cersei went on.
''Oh, yes. You'll be queen. For a time. Then comes another, younger, more beautiful, to cast you down and take all you hold dear.' Cersei glared at her.
'W-will the king and I have children?' Cersei countered hesitantly.
"'No. The king will have 20 children and you will have three.''
'That doesn't make sense.' Cersei informed her aggressively.
'Gold will be their crowns. Gold their shrouds.' The witches laugh cackled through the hut.
'Come on, we have to go.' Clara begged the witches laughter echoed. 'We have to go! Cersei!'
Sandors head jerked around as the hounds stood at attention.
"Someones out there." Sandor remarked. Avalon picked Tyrion up and took a hesitant step back, she wasnt a fighter, she should learn a bit though she supposed, it was always good to know how to protect yourself and the ones you love. But it was Cersei that came running forward.
"Hello Avalon." Cersei said nervously.
"Cersei, my sweetling what were you doing back there?" Avalon questioned putting Tyrion back down, he ran back to the hounds. Sandor looked between them curiously.
"It was a witch, princess!" Clara panted out.
"Shut up." Cersei sneered back at her.
"A witch?" Avalon questioned.
"Avalon I'm really tired." Cersei offered. "We went walking and just got a bit lost is all."
"That wasnt convincing at all, you want to try again?" Avalon countered, cersei's shoulders slumped as she met Avalon's gaze.
"Am I going to marry Rhaegar?" Cersei demanded.
"He is going to marry Elia Martell." Avalon corrected. "I'm sorry Cersei."
"But... the witch said I would be queen." Cersei whimpered. "I want to be queen, I want to be queen!" Cersei declared hugging Avalon. "Mum, I want to be queen!" Avalon held onto her, mum Avalon thought fondly.
