'Don't stand so still it's hard to hit a moving target' Jon said trying to bond with his brothers 'Except for you.' he motioned to pyp, 'you move too much,' he saw Tyrion watching him from the doorway above, 'you pull your sword out, jump around and you do all the work for me.' jon informed him.

"He's doing better." Davina offered.

"You were hoping he would hate it?" Tyon mused, Davina shrugged. "Hell, you were." Tyon realized. "You were hoping he would take up mums offer and come back to the rock with us."

"Maybe." Davina admitted. "So what? He clearly likes it here now."

"Kiss him before we go and change his mind." Tyon suggested.

"He doesnt like me. Besides the less people you trust the better." Davina reminded him.

"I'm heading down, you should tell him how you feel, just a thought." Tyon offered.

"And you know so much about relationships?"

"Taffida." Tyon answered as though that helped his case.

"She is a dimwit that mum and father hate." Davina corrected as she followed him down to the courtyard.

"Taff-Id- AHHHHH!" Tyon countered. "And I broke it off with her in case I found any northern cuties that needed me." Tyon assured her.

''How many winters have you seen Lord Tyrion?'

''Eight no nine' he answered.

''All of them brief?" Aemon questioned.

'No, the winter of my birth was three years long Maester Aemon.' Tyrion informed him.

''This summer has lasted nine but word from the citadel tells us that the summer grow shorter... winter is coming. This one will be long and dark, things will come with it.' Maester aemon told them.

"What do you mean Aemon?" Avalon countered. He reached out grabbing her hand.

''Head to your family, change is coming." Aemon told her before shifting his head towards Tyrion, he couldnt see and yet you still felt like you were getting his full attention, his full line of sight. "We've been capturing Wildlings more every month they are fleeing south the ones who we find say they have seen the white walkers.'

'And the fisherman of Lannister port say they see mermaids' Tyrion told them humorously.

"Nora is still looking." Avalon agreed.

''The night watch is the only thing standing between the realm and what lays beyond and it has become an army of undisciplined boys and tired old men' maester aemon told Tyrion seriously. ''There are less than 1000 of us now,' he went on ''we cannot manage the other castles beyond the wall, we cannot properly patrol the wildlings, we barely have enough led to keep our men armed and fed.''

"What do you need?" Avalon requested.

''Your daughter, your sister sits by the side of the king. Tell her we need help' he requested 'When winter does come, God's help us all if we are not ready.' Aemon told them.

"I will see what I can do." Avalon agreed.

''I'm sorry to see you leave' Jon said as Tyrion finished pissing off the edge of the wall.

'It's either me or this cold and it doesn't appear to be going anywhere.' Tyrion told him.

'Will you stop at Winterfell on your way south?'

'I suppose I will gods know there are not many featherbeds between here and Kings Landing.' Tyrion reminded him.

"I miss you already uncle Aemon." Avalon remarked softly. She held onto him.

"I dont think I will see you again." Aemon offered.

"You are going to live forever." Avalon corrected kissing his cheek.

"Thank you for coming... I sent that letter to Tywin, I'm glad you found someone that makes you happy," Aemon added.

"Thank you and... thank you."

'If you see my brother Bran tell him I miss him tell him I'd visit if I could.' Jon requested

'Of course' Tyrion said.

'He may never walk again' Jon informed him

'If you're going to be a cripple it's better to be a rich cripple. Take care snow' Tyrion said walking past.

"He's not wrong." Tyon offered giving Jon's hand a firm shake like his father taught him. "Dont take these vows." Tyon requested. "Come hang out with us at the rock for a while, let us change your mind."

"I... I think I need to be here." Jon corrected.

"Thought you might say that, thats a shame." Tyon remarked. "Dav will be sad and I dont like a moody Dav." Davina shoved him out of the way.

"You are staying, is that what I heard?" Davina questioned.

"Yes." Jon agreed.

"There goes my end of summer plans." Davina mused. Jon smiled back at her.

"It was a pleasure to know you, Lady Davina." Jon offered with a bow but Davina grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him to her, he changed his mind as she kissed him, his hands wrapped around her waist and Avalon's eyes went wide watching them as Jon's eyes slide closed.

"Is that a good bye kiss?" Avalon whispered. "I thought he wasnt leaving."

"He is, Dav is trying to convince him otherwise." Tyon offered.

"Of course." Avalon agreed. Davina pulled away and Jon stared back at her breathlessly.

"Bye Jon." Davina offered simply as she walked away. Jon stared back at her so many things on his mind but not a single thing came out.

"You can always change your mind." Avalon remarked giving him a gentle hug. "The offer is open ended." she added. "Clearly Davina wants you there... did she convince you?" Jon blinked back at her. "Gods Dav, you broke him." Avalon teased as she stroked her thumb over Jon's cheek. "I hope to see you soon, Jon."

So they headed back out into the great white yonder.

Davina was upset, Jon had decided to stay, but of course he did. She wasnt going to change his mind. She could have changed his mind.

"Winterfell is right around the corner." Avalon remarked. "Maybe we can see Bran."

"Nora will be jealous." Tyon remarked.

"You miss dad." Davina both questioned and stated.

"So much." Avalon agreed.

"How did you know he was the one?" Davina pondered and Avalon hesitated.

"You think Jon-"

"Thats not what I said." Davina corrected her quickly.

"Well, I... I saw him across a crowded room and I just knew, he was already married and had two children of his own but there was something that kept pulling me to him and I couldnt stop it, I didnt want to stop it."
