We reach the farmhouse late. The other two cars are already there. Rob's friends look at our big house in awe. It's not their fault.
This is an awesome farm house.
Weekend's gonna be fun with these guys.
Every one is seated in the garden; more like farm where a seating is beautifully designed.
The servants serves us juices and I drink it as soon as I pick them up. I am really thirsty from the travelling. It was a tiring two hour journey.

"Let's relax for some time and then cook lunch together here out! What say?" Janet stands up and clapping her hands; exclaim.
"You're the best!" Mom says and hugs her.
So everybody walks inside the house. We have 6 bedrooms.
So Mom and Janet are sharing one, Rich, Maddy and Paul are sharing other. Nia and Freda are in one. Rob and Mason in one, Harry and Carter sharing one and Mate and I sharing the last one. Mom trusts us enough to leave us in one room alone.
My room is perfect. It is in the back so it gives us the view of the lake from its big balcony.

"I am coming here second time!" Mate comes and stands beside me in the balcony as we eye the lake.
"Yup. I remember the last Christmas well!" I say smiling; still eyeing the lake.

Then we stay silent for some time and enjoy the view and weather.
Then I look up at the sky; its full of clouds. It seems its going to rain.

"It's going to rain Mitchy!" The idiot says reading my mind.
"Yes! I'll dance in it if it rains..." I grin and say.

"We'll dance," he says and hold my hand. I squeeze it back.
He is my best companion, best friend. He understands me most and counts on me. I can also count on him. We are just each other's supports.
He is a year elder to me but is still with me in school. As he is eighteen, he finally has Pishto's custody. Pishto is his little sister of ten. They are an orphan. Maybe, like me. But I was lucky enough to be adopted and he is not.
I feel sorry for him but I know he is strong enough to do this.
He works at a super market in the evening and be in school in the morning. Now that Pishto is also living with him, he has responsibilities.
He went to his grandparent's house for last ten days to drop Pishto there. Her holidays are going on so he thought it would be best for her to be with them.
I look at him and see him looking at me already.

"Why us, Mitch?" He asks me. I know what he is asking about.
"They took our parents from us, but gave us best friends like each other. So I am not so disappointed." I smile and innocently say.
He pulls me into a hug and we breath calmly in each other's arms. I feel so lucky with him. He is the one I share everything to because I know he will only understand.
As I look towards the lake; still hugging him, I see Rob below us watching us hug.
I look away from him and hug Mate tighter.

Everyone is in the backyard where the lake is. We set up the arrangements for cooking and Mom, Janet and Rob starts cooking. Yes, Rob too.
He is looking breath takingly hot; shirtless. He wears rough jeans and cooks food in a very keen interest.
I sit and eat my ham burger. As I finish eating like a rat, I notice Nia standing beside me cross hands and staring at me.

"What?" I look up at her and say.
"I need to talk to you." She says; in an unusual sweet tone.
I think something's up with her.
I stand and lips 'sure' at her.
Everyone is busy eating, joking and Rob's friends are playing football roughly.
And then I look at Rob. He looks stress free; cooking and smiling to himself sometimes.
"Hey are you still with me?" Nia exclaims sarcastically.
"Um-yeah. What do you want to talk about?" I ask looking at her now.

"Look I know you have been hating me since you came here...but"
Before she could continue I cut her off.
"Nia, I never hated you. And I don't even hate you now. It was you who was always mean so I just ignored you..." I say what I really feel.
"Right." She says and keeps quiet.
