We are on our way to hospital now. And 'we' says only Rob and I.

I thought I will tell my family. But no, I could not.
Wait. Its not like we haven't told them wholely.
Its just I did not tell them.
I nearly fainted while speaking so Rob did it for me.
He told everyone and excluding mom and dad, everyone preferred to stay quiet. They knew it was right that time. I really appreciated that.
After all the details, my parents allowed us to go there and meet him.

"Stop. Stop!" I scream.

"What?" Rob panics and stops the car. The car tires screech and I sigh.

"Flowers! Let's take flowers for him." I say and smile wryly and point to the florist's shop.

"Jesus, you scared me." He says and gets out of the car.
I watch him walk to the florist and buy some white flowers.
I smile at him.

He has been such a good boy friend to me, surprising me with gifts, supporting me, comforting me.
I am the luckiest girl alive to have him. I grin and blush hard.
I am so happy and it's my birthday and I am going to meet my father again.

Rob returns back and I hug him. He looks startled and surprised.

"I love you, idiot." I say; smiling in his chest.

"I love you too, pink bra girl." He says.

We both laugh and I hit him on shoulder.

"We better be going." He says and I nod.
We pull away and he starts driving again.

After good ten minutes, we reach the hospital.
And now I finally read its name: Heathman's Hospital.

We enter and go to the floor where dad is. I carry a small smile on my face.
After a long time, I am going to celebrate my birthday with my father.

When we reach the corridor which leads us inside the ICU, I see Lee standing there talking to the doctor. We approach him as the doctor leaves.

"Lee" Rob says and he turns.
His expressions are changed into a frown.

Oh this is not good.

"Mishi, he does not have much time." He says.

My face dulls and I fight the urge to cry and push back the lump in my throat.

"How's he now?" I ask; almost a whisper.

"He's...weak, pale...wanna go meet him?" He says; unsure of himself.

"Yeah....I..." I trail off; the color of my face drains.

He nods and then I walk inside the door. My heart beat skipping as the room gets closer.
What am I gonna say to him?

Before I can think of anything else, I am already in front of his room.
Today the curtains are parted and so I can see him laying on the bed through the glass door.
Suddenly he looks at me. His weak face breaks into a smile; making me shiver.

"Come in, birthday girl..." He says.

Darn! He remembers!
Off course, he does.

"Dad." I force a smile and walk inside; leaving Rob out.

"I'll go in the corridor." Rob tells me and leaves.

I go and sit to the usual spot I sat yesterday. My smile vanishes as I see those strings and syringes attached to his hands. I see the monitor which shows his heartbeat's pace.
But it makes me calm; telling me he's alive.
