***Mate's POV***
I am so fucking nervous for everything. Its 11 now and I am leaving for their house. My palms are sweating, head is spinning, heart is racing.
I take the gifts and carefully place them on the back seat of my car. Then I slowly drive there.
I am almost there when Mishi calls me.
I pick up.
"Dumbass! Where're you?" She whisperingly shouts.
"On the lane. Coming! Open your room's window!" I say parking my car a little away from the house so that no one can see it. Especially, Nia.
I take all the gifts in the big bag and walk to the house. As I move to the left of the house and see the stairs, I smile wickedly.
"Mitchy!" I say; my voice only audible to her.
Her face pops from the window. She beams and comes down from the stairs.
"Gimme!" She snatches the bag of the gifts and walk up back. I follow her inside. When we are safely inside, I sigh.
"Gosh! Am I nervous?" I ask to her.
"Whatevaa!" She spat her tongue out at me. My immature little best friend.
I chuckle at her.
When we check the time, it's already 11:35. Fuck, am I that slow?
Mishi calls Jack, Rob, Shiyona and Richard in her room. When we're all there, she discusses the plan once more with everyone.
After some time, Shiyona and Mishi goes down to check the arrangements.
I am still sweating.
Jack gives me a reassuring smile. We both are the ones who are most nervous. Its birthday of our girls.
My future girl!
In a few minutes, the girls are back. They give us a thumbs up. Then we all tip toe to the living room.
My eyes widen at the sight. They decorated the huge room with Red baloons. There must be 200 red balloons lying everywhere on the ground. The lights are romantically dimmed white and on the centre table, we see a huge twin cake. They both cakes are joined.
In it, there's one picture of Mandy and Nia together smiling. Nia looks so gorgeous in it. I am always amazed by her.
The cake says : Happy born day, sweet twins.
I love it. My best friend is the best one.
In the end, I notice the front wall. There is a huge frame covering the whole centre of the wall. Mandy and Nia are in it and don't know how its sparkling through the dark room.
Though its not so dark, but dark enough to not see some photo frame. But I guess this is too something done by itchy Mitchy.
The cake is also red and white and the room too displays just red and white. I am so much surprised. I never thought her idea will be so creative.
"Mate, what are you waiting for?" Shiyona gives me a quizzical look.
I now get it. My work is still left.
I take all my gifts and arrange it around the cake. The gift wrappers are red and white too. I arrange them in the order.
I am so excited about it.
Then I take out the freshly bought red rose from my bag and keep it with me.
Shit this is gonna be a night!
The time is now 11:55.
Their parents have also arrived.
Mishi takes me to the back of the house to the swimming pool. I get so shocked seeing it.
The swimming pool have red roses on top saying 'I love you'.
I gulp. I am afraid. I am so afraid.
She will accept, will she?
"Here, you will give her the rose and ask her out, get it?" She says cheerfully.
I think she is more excited than me.
"Yeah..." I barely reply.
"Matty..." She looks at me worriedly.
"I am fine. Just worried. She will say yes, right?" I don't look and her eyes and say. Damn! Why am I being such a chick?
