"You really want to go?" Stefan asked leaning on the door.
"No. But I probably should." Linkin said. He snapped his fingers and a tie flew out his closet before placing itself around his neck in a perfect knot.
"It took me a month to learn how to properly put on a tie. Thats cheating." Damon remarked speeding into the room.
"Do you have to barge into my room like that." Linkin groaned.
"It's my house." Damon chimmed.
"I didn't realise that meant a no privacey rule." The young witch snarked.
"Your the one who asked to move in." The older Salvatore reminded him.
Linkin didn't reply to that. Instead he waved his hand changing his button up from black to a vibrant red, his ripped skinny jeans changing as well from blue to white.
"Not really the colour palette for a funeral." Damon noteded aloud.
"Well." Linkin said looking himself over in the mirror. "My dad may have been an asshole but I still should go. Besides, red is more my colour."
"I gotta say, im really liking this new attitude of yours." Damon admitted.
Stefan watched with an ever growing unease at the twos banter. "I'll drive you." He offered.
"No thanks. I'm driving myself." Linkin said straightening out the creases in his shirt befor grabbing his keys off the side table and walking out the door. "I'll see you there." He called from the hall.
Damon could feel his brothers gaze lingering. "What?"
"I didn't say anything." Stefan said.
"You didn't have too. That ever creasing forhead of yours did." Damon smirk.
Stefan let out an unamused chuckle. "Linkins in a vulnerable state right now. I don't think having a bad infulience is good for him."
"Brother. You think im a bad influence." Damon pouted. "I'm hurt, truly." He moched with his hands over his heart.
"I mean it." Stefan said blocking his brothers path as he tried to leave.
Damons smiled flattened into a straight line at his brothers seriousness. "Whatever." He said befor bardging past out of the room.
Stefan looked around the room still not liking the fact that it was occupied by his younger friend. It wasn't like he didn't like the boy, he just didn't like him here where it wasn't as safe or Damon free. The two have done nothing but fought since Damon came back to Mystic Falls and has done nothing but ruin the young witches life. Thats why it unerved him to see them talk together so casualy. "This isn't going to end well." The vampire sighed to himself.
...
Linkins car roared down the driveway of the Lockwood estate, this time hitting the new lavanders that were planted in the spot were he had ran over the daiseys.
The ninteen nighty five dodge charger came to a loud hault as the tyers grinded into the gravel.
Tyler watched as his little brother stepped out in bright colours and dark sunglasses.
"Well this is kinda akward." Linkin muttered.
Tyler gave him a look of agreement. "How have you been? I havn't really seen you since the party-''
"Where I punched dad in the face." Linkin cut in.
"You acutally broke his nose." Tyler informed him.
Linkin smiled. "Yeah, well the prick deserved it."
