Waking up Linkin found himself not in his own bed. Head spinning as he looked to the body beside him. A mess of curly black hair with a mole on his shoulder.

"Well this took a turn." He thought uncaringly to himself. Retrieving his cloths off the floor and dressing himself before sneaking out of the house. His phone began to ring as he reached the corner of the street where he had apparently parked his car.

"Dude where are you?" Caroline hissed through the other end.

Looking up he saw the street sign. "Somewhere between Gravity lane and Peerhurst drive." He grumbled googily getting into his car.

"Are you drunk?" She asked.

"Proably." He shrugged, digging for his keys in his dark jeans. "My heads spinning an I can't remember what I did last night. Or who for that matter."

"It's a Sunday morning? Where did you even go yesterday? You like left in the middle of Jenna's bar-"

"Okay Caroline. I need less talky because your voice is starting to annoy me-"

There was a knock on his window.

Winding down the glass, he scowled at who the manicured hand belonged too and hung up his phone.

"Firstly, that was rude." Caroline glared. "Secondly, scoot over. I can small the booze on you. You're still drunk."

"I'm not drunk." He huffed. The hiccup that followed did not prove his point.

Caroline hardened her glare. "I may not be able to compel you but I can still move you're intoxicated ass with my vampireness." She warned.

Linkin looked at her with dead and outgrown eyes.

"Have it your way then."

Without warning Linkin found himself with whiplash and in the passenger's seat. Caroline smiling smugly behind the wheel, car key danggeling from her fingers.

Linkin went to spell her but only raced to open the door an lean out before blowing chunks into the curb.

"So gross." Caroline cringed. "Um sorry. That's probably my fault."

"Ya think." Linkin sneered between gags. Sitting back in the car and slamming his door, he slumped into the seat. "Give me some of you're blood."

Caroline went wide eyed. "What?"

"It'll fix this bullshit hangover." He grumbled.

"All right." Caroline said unsure. Bitting into her wrist Linkin let it drip into his mouth.

"Don't touch me with your puke lips!" She all but squealed as he clasped her already healing wrist.

Letting go Linkin let out a content sigh as his headache dimmed to nothing and his dizzy and sickly buzz vanished. "God I need to get some of that bottled."

Caroline turned the keys in the ignition and the car roared to life. "That's all the blood you're getting out of me." She snarked as they pulled out into the street.

Linkin gave a dark chuckle that unnerved the vampire girl.

Caroline couldn't find a way to respond and Linkin didn't start a converstaion as they made there way into town.

...

The park was bustling with townies helping paint posts, plant flowers and raked leaves. The remaining under the cover of the sitting area sipping on freshly squeezed lemonade and munching on small cut sandwiches.
