"You know I still don't think this was a good idea." Linkin said as he sat on the bar stool and leaned against the wall.

Luka had suggested they get out of the house. Have a normal day while Elijah was out at the Lockwood mansion for some historical society meeting. They were sick of studying grimoire's and run through to many cd's on the flat screen. Jonas seemed all too eager to have the house for himself. Oddly unopposed to the idea of a day out.

Luka smiled as he missed another one of his balls in the hole. "Come on man. It's about time you got outta the house since you undid the tomb spell with Elijah."

Linkin got up from his stool and went for the ninth ball. His eyes trailed however. Catching sight of Caroline across the grill with Bonnie. Jeremy joined them and looked over. Quickly he turned back to the game. "I don't think I'm ready to be out and about." He sunk his target.

"Nice shot." Luka praised. "And keeping you cooped up in the house isn't gonna do you any good. A little fresh air and fun is always better. Refreshing."

Rounding the table, Linkin stuck the tip of his stick behind the thirteen. Lining it up he went to strike.

"Hey."

Fumbling the shot Linkin froze on the spot as he saw Bonnie coming up the steps. Bonnie went to smile at him and he immediately turned to Luka. "I need a drink."

Bonnie didn't say anything as he passed her. Two milkshakes in each hand and giving all her attention to Luka.

Linkin made his way round tables and sropped infront of Caroline. She smiled hesitantly up at him.

"Hi?"

"Hey." He said. "I heard about what happened with the wolves. Um, I just wanted to see if you were okay?"

Surprise dances in her eyes. "Oh um. Thanks."

Akwardly he nodded to her and then went to the bar. "Whisky."

The bartender arched a brow. "Aren't you a bit to you?"

Linkin mumbled a compliance spell under his breath. For a moment the bar tender became dazed, then he grabbed a bottle from the back wall with a shot glass. Laying it out on the bar infront of him befor walking off.

Filling up the glass he threw back a shot before pouring another.

"Wow. Rough couple of days I take it?"

Linkin downed the burning liquid. "I didn't think you'd wanna talk to me Jer."

Jeremy hummed, took a seat beside him.  Sighing, Linkin leaned over the bar and took another glass and poured him a drink. Grapsing it he took a sip.

"I don't blame you for what happened Link."

Linkin looked down at his glass. "I do. I just stood there when Damon threatened to kill you. Helped Katherine, killed Vicki. I couldn't save Anna. If anyone here has a reason to hate me it's you."

Jeremy frowned. "You stopped Vicki from killing me. Saved my life and helped me more times than I can count. And what happened with Anna wasn't your fault."

Linkin filled his glass again. "Then why do you look at me like that?"

"Like what?"

Facing him Linkin looked him right in the eyes, those sad and deep dark browns. "I can see it. The angry your hiding behind them. How much you really hate me."

"I don't hate-"

"Stop lying Jeremy. Why did you really come over here? You think because I had feelings for you you could try and get me to spill whatever Elijahs plan is? Well I'm sorry to disappoint you again but I don't have a clue and I don't care." He said befor grabbing the bottle and walking off for the back door.
