"What are you guys doing?" Linkin asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eye as he reached the bottom step.
Sitting on the couch was Elena and Stefan with Damon standing beside them. They were all across from Professor Saltzman. Said teacher looked at the other three unsure.
"We're talking about taking a trip to Duke." Damon chimmed with a lop sided grin aimed at his brother. Of whom wich was glaring at him.
"You guys are acting weird." Linkin thought aloud. Looking at then all over the rim of his glasses.
They all looked to each other as if trying to make up some excuse.
"Isabel's office is still there." Elena quickly said. "I wanted to see if there was anything there that I could use to try and understand more about her." She said before glancing at their history teacher. "I asked Rick, and he said he would take me."
Linkin felt like he was being deceived, but he found he didn't really care. "Whatever." He shrugged before walking off to the kitchen.
Elena let out a heavy sigh.
"Quick thinking." Damon smirked.
"Well, we can't really tell him we think him and his family are werewolves." Elena chastised the older Salavtore. She felt bad for lying, but Linkin hasn't seemed okay lately. "He's been acting wierd ever since that night at my dad practice. He didn't talk to anybody for a week and moved from Bonnie's to here." She said worriedly.
"Even I have to agree with you on that one." Damon added.
All eyes looked to him.
"Why?" Elena asked.
"What did you do?" Stefan asked accusingly.
Damon softened his eyes as he gave a hlaf hearted sigh. "I may have warned Jeremy a little violently -"
"Damon!" Elena whispered, cutting him off.
"Why would you even do that?" Stefan pressed.
"Because the twerp would stop flashing his ring and making threats. I just may or may not have choked him and taken his ring to prove a point." The vampire admitted with a strung look.
"Is this a regular occurrence from you? Just threatening people to ry and get your point across?" Alaric groaned.
Damon hesitated to answer. His eyes looking side to side as if waying his limited answers. "Yes."
Stefan graoned in his seat as he punched the bridge of his nose.
"What did Linkin have to do with this?" Elena asked, confused.
That was when Damon chuckled. "Our little witchy house guest was there the whole time and didn't even do a thing." He told her.
"What?" Elena said in complete disbelief. "You're telling me he just stood there?" She scoffed.
"Don't believe me all you won't, Elena. But I'm telling you the truth, he just watched, even when your little brother asked for his help he refused and said "you need to learn your not invincible"." He said, doing a poor imitation of Linkins voice.
"Maybe it has to do with this whole werewolf thing." Elena said, trying to come up with a reason for her friends behaviour.
"No." Stefan spoke up.
"How could you know that?" Elena asked.
"Because." Damon said, he and his brother sharing a knowing look. "You can't be more than one thing at once. It's not possible." He told her as if it were common knowledge.
