"Maybe I over reacted." I bit my lower lip. "I should have listened to what he had to say." I finally got out as my friends shared their thoughts on me seeing Daniel again. Their thoughts moved from not believing me to being shocked then now they were livid. I was. Even sister Deola was upset upon telling her. Everyone was. Especially Felix who I told the entire circumstances surrounding my pregnancy. Although, when I asked if he was Daniel would he have accepted the pregnancy he kept mute.

"Girl, you didn't. You reacted like any sane human being would and I'm even sure you didn't hit that animal well." Anna hissed.

"If I were you, I would have grabbed his balls and smash em like eggs." Zara had her eyes closed and a hand in view in a tight fist. "It's well known he has made use of his balls. I think his little power house should be forced into retirement." She took a deep breath.

"You know what is more annoying?" Anna cocked her head to the side then took a look at Zara before glancing back at her phone's screen. The two were in Zara's room.  "The fact that he even had the effontery to want to speak to you."

Zara huffed as her fingers disappeared into her halfway loosen hair. "All men do is steal, destroy and kill. Just like the devil." She took out the locs from her hair and dropped it somewhere the camera didn't have coverage of.

Anna laughed out loud causing myself and Zara to frown. What was funny?  Like she heard the question in my head, she answered. "What's funny is that; this same  Zara wouldn't stop flirting around with Afolabi."

"Afolabi from school?" I arched a questioning eyebrow with a small smirk tugging on my lips.

"You need to see how they're all up in each other's business like rice and beans." Anna bopped her head up and down like a lizard; Zara blushed. "Just like you and Daniel back then." I felt a pang of pain in my chest at Anna's last words.

"I didn't mean to say that. I'm sorry."

"Oh, it wasn't a bother." I faked a small smile and shrugged .

"What's up with grandma?" Zara asked as she placed her head on Anna's shoulder. School was on holiday and so the two giros were spending the week at Zara's house.

Sighing, I sat up on my bed and brought the phone closer to me. "Nothing has changed. They're still spending heavily and they still haven't agreed on cutting off the life support or letting her stay alive."

"How do you still like her despite all the chaos she's caused in your family?" This came from Zara.

I looked ahead, at the open window across my bed. "I guess she's just family and you accept family even though they can be sand in your garri."

"That still doesn't justify her causing wahala here and there as though she's Portable." Anna stated, making myself and Zara chuckle.

"Sure." I shrugged. "Staying with her these past few days has opened my eyes to see she's not as bad as we think she is. She's just difficult."

"She's still bad sha. What deen good, deen good. " Anna emphasized and we all laughed. I heaved a sigh afterwards. I missed my friends.

I broke the comfortable silence. "Imisioluwa or shall we say Mimi is here." I rolled my eyes as my eyes  went over her luggage littered all around my room.

"We love Mimi!" My friends declared.

"And we would be staying in the same room. You know what make me anxious about her being here?" The girls nodded urging me to carry on speaking, "it's that there's no date set for her to leave."

"I don't see why you don't want her here. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone else other than the adults and the boys. You'll need a female to bond with."
