Chapter 9

In a room she was lying on the ground unconscious and shivering badly without anyone's knowledge. Sahiba was in a critical state and she had no one to take care of her. She remained at the place she was till the morning shivering and she was cold.

She opened her eyes and looked at the surroundings, after analysing her environment, she tried to stand up but couldn't due to the weakness she felt in her legs.

She was scared about things happening to her, it stressed her too much and she had no one to convey it to. But then she decided that she has to look out for herself so she decided to visit the doctor herself.

She slowly stood up and dragged herself somehow to the attached bathroom for taking a shower. After dressing herself into a suit set she took her dupatta, she slowly left the Brar mansion and went to see the doctor by herself.

After reaching the clinic she asked for Dr Ruchi who is a physician and her family doctor. Dr Ruchi prescribed some tests and after looking at those test results she recommended Sahiba to visit Dr Bhumi which shocked Sahiba because Dr Bhumi is a psychologist but she complied.

When Dr Bhumi looked at the test results and she enquired about the situation, Dr Bhumi said, "You just had a severe panic attack, Ms Sahiba. It could have taken your life, so you need to be very careful about your activities. This is hazardous for your mental health and also your life."

This scared Sahiba to core. 'She can't die', she thought.

After she got this shock, she just smiled at the Dr and after getting her medicine prescription, she left the clinic and went to the chemist to buy the medicines after which she quietly went to her art gallery and messaged Daarji that she is at her Art store.

Sahiba engaged herself into work and she was so much involved in the process that she just forgot her medical condition. But then when she looked at the lunch she remembered what happened to her and tears escaped her eyes.

She wanted to rush to her father and cry in his arms about the everything happening in her life. She wanted to cry in her mother's arms and hug Keerat but she couldn't. She was aware of the fact that her father will be angry at the Brar's and blame them for not taking care of her resulting into another scene altogether.

She denied her thoughts and then decided to call her father who is mostly at home at this time because he came to have lunch.

Sahiba video called her father and said, "Satsriya kaal papa. How are you?"

To which her father Ajeet Monga replied, "I fine my little girl, how are you? It seems like you were crying, were you?"

Sahiba controlled her emotions and just smiled replying, "I am fine papa, it's just that I was missing you so much."

Just then Santosh Kaur Monga, Sahiba's mother heard that her husband is talking to her dear Sahiba. The daughter who gave her everything and didn't even complain at once but what did she do? Santosh forced Sahiba against her daughter's will to marry Angad when Seerat ran away from the wedding threating her life, she said that she will murder herself if Sahiba doesn't marry Angad.

Santosh craved Sahiba's love now and she was desperate to talk to her daughter so she took the phone from her husband and smiled seeing Sahiba and the latter's mood was ruined seeing the person responsible for her miserable life.

Sahiba cut the call after saying a goodbye to her father which made her mother sad. After finishing her day, Sahiba returned to the Brar mansion where she saw Daarji sitting in the living room and she went to greet him.

Bebe saw some medicines kept in her granddaughter-in-law's bag and asked her about it. Sahiba not wanting to tell the truth, lied to them about the medicines being for the headache she had in the afternoon due to workload.

Sahiba's art shop was growing day by day and she was now getting good amount of orders since she also went into online marketing of her artwork so the excuse was believable. Manveer was not sure about Sahiba's answer and thought to enquire about it later.

Angad was sitting in his office room thinking about his spoiled life when Garry entered, "What's up bro?"

"Just thinking about something, that's all" he smiled at the younger one.

To which Garry replied, "Brother, just one thought was roaming around my mind which is that if the news about you and Sahiba getting married in unusual situation ran in the country then why was Randeep so casual about your marriage?"

"Garry please I don't want to even think about this marriage anymore." Angad replied rubbing his eyes clearly disturbed by the topic.

Garry wanted to instigate Angad and make him commit a huge mistake just once so that he gets the full control of the Brar Jewellers and his mom rules the Brar mansion. Garry knew which point pinched Angad the most and he touched the sour subject again and again so that he can encash the situation in his way.

But so far he was unsuccessful because Angad was not influenced by him even a bit. Angad loved Garry too much to know about his scheming ways and he thought that Garry is upset about Sahiba's entry in the family so he is bitter about her.

Angad came home and found the medicines of controlling panic attack lying near the garden but left them where they were as he heard someone muttering. It was good time to find out about the person who owned the medicines.

He then saw Sahiba saying, "Where are those medicines? I bought them today itself and neither do I have the money to buy them again. They are very important as Dr Bhumi said."

He moved away so that Sahiba couldn't notice him and returned to his room thinking that she is pretending again.
