Sahiba was prepping for her art fest and she was making a list about her items which she planned for the exhibition. But she was scared for the Brar family's reputation.

First of all, media will grill them for choosing a bride who doesn't belong to their social circle; secondly, she played as Angad's wife because Daarji asked her to but will Angad play as her husband when it's her reputation is to be concerned?

How will she answer the people when they badmouth her about her husband not arriving at the event?

Sahiba was sure that Angad will never do anything for her. But she knew that she can request him once but that also will not result in negative response. But still least she could do was try.

She decided to talk to him tomorrow morning before he goes to office. For now she just continued her preparation for her big day.

In the morning, Sahiba knocked on Angad's room and waited patiently. He called the person inside and when she went there she found her husband in white shirt and coffee brown pants tying his tie. He finished then, he combed his hair and said, "What is it you need, Ms. Sahiba Kaur Monga aka fraud?"

Sahiba just sighed because by now she was used to his insults. She just sighed and said, "I wanted to talk to you."

"Yeah?" He mocked.

"This art festival is a very huge thing for me. I was wondering if you could just..." She tried to explain him her point but he cut her sentence by taking long steps towards her and saying, "Shh..."

He cornered her on the wall, she took a long breath which made him sense that she is uncomfortable which is exactly what he wanted.

"Whatever you are wondering, keep wondering little birdy because I. WILL. NEVER. LET. YOU. SUCCEED." He said and it made her eyes cloud with water.

Sahiba saw her dream of getting a good scope at the Art festival crumble in front of her eyes just because of her so-called marriage. It made her dejected soul pain more than she deserved.

Angad saw Sahiba trying to control her cry in front of him. He somewhat felt a little bad but then he was aware of the fire which burned him and his life. He then felt so peaceful seeing the person who destroyed his life putrefying in pain and it became the biggest achievement for him.

Sahiba just pushed him and ran away crying which also disturbed him a little because at the end he is also a human. Sahiba went straight to her room and laid on her bed crying her eyes out with the humiliation she faced from the man who took marital vows with him.

"Why does he insult me this much?

Do I deserve this miserable life?

I despise him!

I hate his soul, his face and his everything!" She said.

"I despise you Mr. Angad Singh Brar!" She shouted in agony.

"I always wanted a family who loves me, cares about me and protect me from everything like papa did. I never wanted this stupid marriage in the first place. I told Brars the truth before the Anand Karaj. He chose to marry for protecting his family's reputation in the society and I was forced by my mother to do so. Then why do I have to bear this all the time." She sobbed.

"I just wanted one thing, just once for him to listen to me but he didn't. Is this the marriage mummy wanted for me?" She shouted shutting her eyes tightly and tears were slipping which covered her red face.

"Babaji what have you planned for me? Please help me, I want to be successful in this art festival, I don't want to face anyone's taunts. I don't want anyone's judgement just because of me getting married or having Angad as my husband." She said looking upwards like talking to her god.

"Please Babaji, help me! I want this art festival please!" She cried so hard but she was aware that no one will listen to her and there she was wrong.

She didn't know that someone was watching her and listening to her pleas to the almighty.

Sahiba just wiped her tears and went to wash her face. She cleaned herself and tried to normalize her life because she knew that her life will not be a bed of roses and she had tried accept this fact during the course of time when she agreed for taking Seerat's place as a bride.

But her unholy desire of wanting unconditional love and affection didn't leave her brain. That desire kept seducing her to the thoughts of living a happy life.

She went outside and took Daarji's blessing for starting the day and went to her art shop quietly where she dealt with the customers and completed her orders. She made some extra earthen pots for tomorrow.

Then she made a layout of the clay artwork she will display as her showstopper in the event. She was working on that when she heard a car honking on her shop's doorstep.

She wiped her sweat resulting in colours spreading on her forehead and went to look at the area of interest. She found Randeep Ahlawat standing near his car.

"Randeep bhaiya, what are you doing here?" She said surprised of his arrival.

"Bharjayeeji I didn't know that your husband asked you to welcome me like that." He joked with a small smile which turned her red due to embarrassment and awkwardness.

"Sorry about that, I didn't expect you to be here so. But please you are graciously welcomed in my heaven. " She smiled inviting him into her holy arena.

"It's okay, I was just joking. Nice place, beautiful artwork you do bharjayeeji" He genuinely appreciated.

"Thank you." She said.

"Actually I wanted to invite you to my aboard tonight. We are hosting a party and I wanted you and your darling husband to be our guests." He said.

"Tonight?" She said although she was still shocked that Randeep called Angad her darling husband which he clearly was not but that wasn't the matter of concern at the moment.

"Bharjayeeji I know that you have lead a simple and peaceful life till yet. I can clearly see how happy you were in your little crafty world but this is your life now. You have to attend parties and functions as Brar family's daughter-in-law and Angad Singh Brar's wife." He said softly trying to explain her about their world of glitz and glamour.

She was disgusted inside but she mastered a smile and hummed as if she understood everything.

"So I will see you tonight, 8 p.m. and no need to talk to your husband. I have informed him about everything. Please grace us with your presence at our home tonight." He said and took his leave.

Sahiba was perplexed about what to do next. She was in a swamp where she couldn't escape from. She wanted nothing but peace and she is not getting that. She is getting herself into something she didn't want.

She felt helplessness like never before and so she called her confidant.
