Sahiba knew that once way to distract herself from all then tensions of life is to just work hard on her artistic side and she was aware that she may not escape the drama but she will surely be able to get some peace from that.
Sahiba started on the jewellery art which she did sale to the trader for money to run her household back then. It was her side business and also source of the most of her income in the time when her elder sister Seerat was ambitious to become the super model.
Sahiba decided that she will restart her jewellery art but she didn't know who to consult to but then she opted for sticking to her traditional methods.
It was a blissful evening and she was sitting in the garden staring at the moon when she got an idea to draw her designs.
She went to her room took out her essentials and came back to the garden. She then started drawing but couldn't succeed which concerned her because it never happened with her in the past. But she thought to give herself some time and space to heal.
Sahiba continued eating the medicines of panic attack and trying to stay calm and composed during the Brar family drama where Jasleen used to plot against her and Manveer and Manveer used to answer her back but this time Inder supported Manveer which made Sahiba happy and everyone perplexed about the changed scenarios of the spoiled relationships.
Sahiba never spoke in between and neither did she express her opinion. The senior Brar who was lovingly called Daarji was anxious about the change in the girl because he knew that Sahiba was a person who expressed her opinion without any hesitance but here she is gloomy, cautious and quiet all the time.
Why was Sahiba not participating in the familial discussions?
He had a doubt but when he saw Jasleen and Garry targeting her when ever they felt they are in danger, he was sure that they can harm the poor girl who is too innocent for this whole façade. Daarji wanted to protect Sahiba but he knew that no one else in the house is concerned about her which worried him.
His family was judging her due to the treachery committed by her mother and her social status but not her values, heart and mindset. She was wronged in this house so many times but she never said any word to anyone.
She saw everything, observed her surrounding, spotted the people plotting against her and fought back but with dignity and respect. She never disrespected any family member and even not Angad whom she considers as her biggest culprit.
Although Gurleen always defended Sahiba because she thought Sahiba should get a fair chance but the majority of the family believed that she is nothing but a misplace in the family and this thinking was very much deeply rooted inside their mind.
He saw Sahiba listening to all the taunts directed to her and was a little shaken that she didn't reply to them or even correct their sentence to clean her image but was just listening quietly.
'Something has definitely changed. I need to find out.' He thought.
The weeks passed by with Sahiba's condition not getting better and Daarji in the confusion about the surroundings and Sahiba's behaviour because whenever he asked her about any problem she would simply reply, "No Daarji, I am absolutely fine." But the old man knew better. He was cognizant about the fact that something is cooking under his nose and the smell is not reaching him. He decided to get to the roots of it but for now let it go.
Sahiba was coming out of her room one morning and saw a helper holding the letter with her name. Sahiba rushed towards Daarji and asked him to open it and after that she saw the old man laughing and smiling with glee. He took out a 500 note bundle from his pocket and waved it around Sahiba in happiness and then gave it to the helper to distribute it between them and asked his beloved wife to bring some sweets for celebrating a good news.
"But why are you so happy Daarji?" Angad asked speaking the words which Sahiba wanted to say.
"Because Sahiba Angad Singh Brar is invited to present her Art in the prestigious Amritsar Art festival." He said making Sahiba jump with happiness.
Amritsar Art festival is an extravagant affair where the public of whole Punjab is invite for watching the brilliant art pieces and selection in this Art festival is a difficult because it is a multi-layered process with 5 selection rounds and extremely strict judgement. It is a prestigious art festival where huge artists from every genre are invited and all of the famous personalities grace the event.
Sahiba remembered that she applied for this festival before she met the Brars and she has been rejected for this festival for two years straight but this time she got herself this opportunity.
She was grinning eye to eye and her eyes were clouded with tears of happiness because for her this was a huge achievement. Angad for the first time after his marriage saw Sahiba this happy on something.
But then he understood what it meant for her. He saw Sahiba touching Daarji's feet in respect and she took his hand and touched it on her eyes and pecked it.
Daarji was extremely elated on the success of her granddaughter-in-law and his happiness multiplied after seeing Sahiba's respect for him.
Gurleen brought some sweet and Daarji took a piece of laddu and brought it near the young girl's mouth which he accepted happily and she then made him eat the laddu with her own hands.
She touched feet of next person standing to Daarji and Bebe who was also glad about the news blessed her success in every field she wishes. Sahiba made Bebe eat the sweet and then she went to take blessings from Manveer and Inder.
Both didn't allow her to touch their feet but gave her a bear hug and made her eat the sweet. The sweetest and youngest person of the family Prince who was Angad's cousin though Gurleen and her husband Jaspal tugged on the end of the coat.
Angad felt his coat slipping and looked down to find his little brother. He bent down to his height and said, "Yes, Mr. little Brar, what is it you need?"
The boy pointed at the laddu which made Angad laugh and he took the laddu which was snatched by Sahiba and then she kneeled down and made Prince eat with her hands.
"Thank you paaji, thank you Bhabhi." He cutely said and ran away with two laddus in his hand which made Sahiba laugh, "Such a sweetie he is." She whispered but Angad heard that.
"Congratulations Sahiba." He formally thanked her which made her reply in the same manner with a formal thank you.
