The wind blew through my long black hair, as I walked as fast as I could to platform 9 ¾.

The smell of the old train was new to me but yet so familiar. Last year was my first year I attended Hogwarts, but I got there via detour. Images of a Dragon ripping our flying Carriage in two half's flashed trough my mind. Professor Figs voice and comforting words made my heart sting. I gulped hard and chased away those hurtful memories of my deceased professor, my mentor.
Nevertheless I was convinced if the ride to Hogwarts was eventful, the year must going to be the same. So I was hoping that my sixth year should be less exciting if I took the train.
I was determined to study hard and everything I could, to shift my focus away from the disaster.

I climbed the small steps up de stairs into the train. Students shouting and laughing, waving their family goodbye. I managed to squeeze through the narrow crowd trying to find a place to sit and store my stuff away. The last cabin was abandoned, maybe because the toilet was right next to it, so I stowed away my luggage and sat down. finally. I had some peace and quiet.

I wanted to greet my friends and ask them about their summer but I knew the second the would ask me about mine I was afraid I would start crying and loose control. The War against Ranrok did something horrible to me.
Seeing my mentor die caused some terrible trauma and opening the repository didnt help my mind either.
It started after the Owls when I said goodbye to my friends. I dont know if I couldnt comprehend what happened to that point or if I put a masquerade on. I was standing in hogsmead waving natty goodbye before summer when it happened. Heat. Incredible heat. My body was almost standing in flames trying to tell me to kill her. I assumed that it must of been the ancient magic I consumed from the repository.
For now Im trying to forget my Summer and Id rather not talk about it to my friends.
Couldn't tell them that I was on the edge of killing someone.

I have killed before, i didn't deny that. Knowing that they have deserved it and the fact that sometimes it was self defense, let me sleep more peaceful at night. But if you've done it before, there's a good chance it'll happen again, and this fire in me makes it difficult to differentiate between friends and enemies. Or so I noticed.

So I decided that I just need to focus on school and maybe in a couple of weeks of normality the ancient magic and the desires of killing will calm itself.

I heard giggling in the hall and when I looked up from my book I saw Natty and Poppy walking to the toilet. Their cheeks red and holding their hand over their mouths.
„Oh he is so cute" poppy said to her friend.
„Indeed, he grew quite into his body" Natty sneered. I noticed that both of them grew over the summer, longer hair, more feminine curves. Poppy even had a flower behind her ear, making her look more mature.
Natty noticed me and opened my cabin.
„there you are! I was wondering where you might be" she said with a smile and poppy went to the toilet, giving me a quick wave.
„Hi natty" I said soft, hoping that I wouldn't sound sad.
„You look fantastic, you have matured a lot over the summer! How are you?" she smiled and sat down after giving me a tight hug.
„Im good, thank you! how are you? And you grew your hair out into an afro! You look quite the woman!" I replied, smiling, trying to be as convincing as I could be. She touched her hair, flattered by my comment.
„Im great! I was in uagadu over the summer, spending a lot of time where my family and friends live. Vera, I met someone" She giggled.
„Im assuming, this certain someone is responsible for your upbeat mood" I said, while watching her amused.

I was relieved, for the moment it seemed that the heat was controlled.

„Not entirely" she blushed, giving the hall a look, as if shes being watched. She leaned forward.
„Garreth grew a little taller and got more flirtatious" she grins.
