"Come out, come out, Sweetheart!" Sebastian's voice echoed through the forbidden forest. He looked around cautiously, knowing I was hiding behind a tree.
I put my hand over my mouth so he couldn't hear my giggle.
"Do you want me to come look for you?" he offered still unsure where I was hiding.
"I'm more than happy to hunt you, if that is what you want." he declared, almost in a more excited mood than me.
I opened my eyes thrilled and started running deeper in the forest. Then I bursted out laughing with joy, something that seemed so strange to me.
"There you are" he pointed out and ran after me.
I kept looking over my shoulder to see how far he had caught up to me. But I quickly lost sight of him.
My heart was beating wildly and excitedly and I hadn't felt this much joy in a long time. I stopped abruptly and looked closely around me. I could hear him, his quick steps across the forest floor.
I pricked up my ears, listening to the sounds in the forest, the chirping of birds, the cracking of branches, the blowing of falling leaves and the sound of a young man thundering through the forest. But I just couldn't locate him.
Sebastian was fast, faster than I would have expected of him and his bear-like stature. I took further steps, knowing that he had already caught up with me and circled me. My heart in my chest, glowing and pumping, like something raw and exposed, whispered to me to turn around.
I spun around and before I could even comprehend what had happened, I screamed. Sebastian had rushed untamed at me and picked me up in his hands and thrown me over his shoulder. Muffled noises escaped my mouth.
"Got you!" He chuckled out of breath. His arms wrapped around both of my legs, holding me tight as he walked through the forest as if he had a plan of where he wanted to go.
When the shock wore off, I laughed out loud, calling his name in warning.
"Naughty, you are. It would be best if I just take you with me." he jested and I snorted in response.
My pelvis hung over his shoulders, my hands rested on his lower back so that I could lean on it to see something. But my long black hair blocked my view and all I saw was hair and blurry images of the forest.
"You are more than welcome to let me down now." I laughed as I bounced along with his steps.
"Nonsense, a hunter carries his prey." He cajoled and patted my bottom with his right hand and I jumped.
"That's no way to treat a lady" I protested, trying to release me from his grasp but it was hopeless. His arms were like a steel cage around my legs.
"But I only touched what belongs to me" He claimed, giving by arse another light slap.
"Sebastian!" I warned him, but couldn't hide the smile on my lips. He suddenly grabbed my hips and put me back on my feet.
I looked up, secretly amused, and studied his satisfied face. His steady breath hit my skin, all I could do was stare at him, from his prominent Adam's apple poking out of his broad neck to his chocolate-colored hair moving in the wind.
