Bottles and their lids

Gryffindor won, it was more spectacular than it sounded. Both teams fought bravely against the bad weather... and against each other, of course.

Either way, if you asked me, it was a miracle that the game wasn't canceled. I was sure if Slytherin had been playing, Headmaster Black would have saved his precious purebloods from the storm at the first lightning strike that hit the field.

But that didn't matter anymore, as celebrating Gryffindor players and their fans raged through the castle. Nervousness had been my constant feeling since the game began and had only gotten worse when it was over.

Biting my lips, I watched the grand staircase as students in red robes ran up the stairs, probably to meet at the Gryffindor Common Room. In front of the Great Hall, I had walked up the stairs to the first archway, where I could get a full view of the huge cylindrical tower in which the huge staircase was built.

I had been standing in the shadows for a good five minutes, refusing to take a step further. I would meet Poppy and Natty outside the common room, but who I would find inside was what made me feel uneasy.

Even I didn't understand my mood swings sometimes.

"How much longer are you going to stand there? You know where they have their quarters." I turned around and spotted Sebastian leaning against the cold wall with his arms folded across his chest.

"I thought you were going back to the dungeons." I recalled.

"I was ... but you've been driving me mad for about exactly five minutes. Usually I can no longer hear your thoughts after a certain distance." He breathed out in frustration.

"And you're annoyed because I'm struggling to go to him? Normal men would be a tad more happy about something like that" I grumbled "Sweetheart, I didn't mean it like that" He said very carefully and came towards me. He placed his hands on my neck and looked deep into my eyes.

"Normal no longer exists since you touched my heart. I can't describe it in words ... it is like it has become my mission to make everything you want possible for you but I can't do that if you don't know what you want." he explained pleadingly. I blinked, trying to understand what I had done to Sebastian's free will.

"So, either you pull yourself together, go upstairs and have the fun you have wanted for so long or you come with me to the undercroft. One way or another I will be happy with the decision." His words got me thinking. I looked at our feet.

No matter what I tried to distract myself with, I knew he was right. Normal no longer existed. Garreth asked me weeks ago and it would be inappropriate to cancel now. He had also already kissed me.

"All right then. Should I accompany you up there or can you do it on your own?" He offered with a smile. Shaking my head, I replied that I could handle it on my own and grabbed his elbows. "I love you," I whispered, standing on my tiptoes. " I love you too"

I placed a feather-light kiss on the corner of his mouth and with the necessary courage walked towards the stairs.

Looking back, maintaining eye contact with Sebastian, I ran into someone. "Woah! Careful" As I looked ahead, I realised that I had bumped into Garreth and some of his fellow housemates. "Oh! I'm sorry" I immediately apologised.

They all had large brown glass bottles in their hands and didn't look happy that I had almost caused them to fall to the ground and smash. "Where did you suddenly come from?" I tried to lighten the mood with a charming smile.

"Josua had the brilliant idea of smuggling alcohol from Hogsmeade through the One Eyed Witch passage." Garreth explained with an unreadable facial expression and pointed to a slim Gryffindor who was shaking his head as he ran up the stairs. I looked in the direction they had come from and realized that the statue was right over there. "Very clever of him" I admitted and let Leander give me a bottle of fire whiskey.
