Being Taras best friend meant a high risk of ending up in some uncomfortable situations. I followed the group after leaving the halloween party. Watching Tara and Sam argue in the middle of the street was a bit awkward. I was thinking about stepping in, maybe try to defuse the situation? Or maybe I should let them figure it out? I looked around me, at the others. Ethsn looked as uncomfortable as I felt.

I stepped up, but before I could say anything some unfamiliar girls walked up to us.

What happened next happened so quickly, I didn't have any time to react.

"Murderer!" A blonde girl yelled at Sam, I didn't really hear exactly what happened. She threw her alcoholic drink in Sams direction. But Sam was quicker, and managed to jump out of the way. Which instead, led to me getting drenched in the disgusting alcohol as I had happened to stand right behind Sam.

Sam was about to jump the woman, screaming back at her.

I quickly inhaled, and it didn't take long before I started freezing. I took a few steps back, looking down at my ruined costume.

"I, uhm." I heard a careful voice, and looked up to meet Ethans brown eyes. He looked adorable, in his homemade knight costume. "I have tissues, if you want tissues. I have like three tissues." He said, holding the tissues up to me. The way he offered three tissues was really cute. My crush on this boy is insane, he offers me tissues and I ready to propose. I took them from his hand, and started wiping my costume.

"Thanks." I said, sighing. If he only knew what effect he had on me. "I look horrible and my costume is ruined."

"I... I still think you uhm..." He scratched his neck, almost stuttering. "I don't think you look horrible."

"Thanks Ethan." I said, sarcastically.

"I think you look... You know, good."

"You're just saying that to try and cheer me up." I rolled my eyes. Ethan shook his head.

"No, even drenched in alcohol you're still the most gorgeous girl I know." He said, breathing out. I stared at him, his words making my heart beat faster.

"Really?" I said, not being able to hide my smile.

"Well, yeah." He said under his breath, becoming shy again. It was dark outside, but I could swear that I saw his cheeks go a little red.

"We should join the others." I said, not being able to stop smiling. This adorable dork, how am I supposed to not have a crush on him?
