This is the last part on the "Knife" story, so you might want to read part 1 and 2, if you haven't already. Thank you!

I do like you Ethan, but I like living more. I never believed that I would have to choose between the two. This whole situation is so bizarre.
I could still hear Tara and Sam fighting, I couldn't see where they were but they were here somewhere. Good. The one thing I don't want to hear is silence. Maybe they need my help.
My running had taken me to the frontdesk of the theater. My heart was hurting like a crazy underneath my chest, was it because of the unforeseen cardio or because of Ethan?
A boot stepped forward behind a corner. I stopped dead in my tracks. Soon, Ghostface appeared from behind a corner. Mask on, knife in hand. A similar one as Ethan had. Only, this ghostface clearly wasn't injured. I looked Ghostface up and down. This isn't Ethan, which made my beating heart skip a beat.
The Ghostface moved closer, flaunting the knife. As they took a step closer, I took a step back. I looked around frantically, trying to come up with a plan. I had survived Ethans sick mind games, maybe I can survive this Ghostface too?
The Ghostface stopped. She removed her mask and grinned at me. I simply stared at her in disbelief when another friend of mine was revealed.
"Hey there," Quinn smiled at me. It looked genuine, but so had all of her other smiles looked as well. "I've always appreciated our little girl talks." Quinn took another step closer, I took one back.
"Please, Quinn, we're friends." I pleaded, glancing at the knife. She laughed at my words.
"Friends? Oh, honey, I was using you. You were friends with Tara, so becoming your friend helped me get closer to them as well. Outside of being roomies, of course." She smiled. Somehow, her betrayal didn't hit as bad as Ethans had.
"It's gonna be fun slicing you up!" She suddenly yelled, eyes wide open, making me jump. "For months, I've listened to you whine and go on and on about Ethan. You would never shut up about him! It's honestly pathetic."
One of the highlights of girlnight with Quinn had always been to talk about boys. It wasn't the same to talk about boys with Tara. Quinn, on the other hand, would tell me about her latest date, and I would, well as she put it, go on and on about Ethan. Quinn had always been telling me to go for it, and "save him from forever being a virgin". Her words, not mine.
I looked at the girl, and crossed my arms over my chest.
"I'm the pathetic one? You're the one running around in Halloween costume, acting like crazy people." I snorted, trying to stall. With more time, I might be able to find an escape. And either help Tara and Sam, or run to closest neighbour and call the police.
Quinn was done talking. She gave me a horrifying grin, before quickly walking towards me with the blade up in the air.
A warm arm slipped its way around my waist without warning. On instinct, I tried to get away from him. His grip on me tightened in response. Despite my struggling, he managed to lean in very close and whispered two words into my ear.
"Don't. Fight."
Ethan didn't even look at me. He directly stared at Quinn, like he was challenging her. He pulled me closer to him while applying pressure to his wound with his other hand.
"What the fuck?" Quinn groaned.
"Don't kill Y/n." Ethan said firmly, locking eyes with his sister. I had never noticed any kind of resemblence before. But now, when I really look for it, I can clearly see that they had the same eyes. Not eye colour, but the same kind of psycho eyes.
I looked up at Ethan. He had a pained expression om his face and his clothes were bloody. He had lost some colour from his face, probably because of blood loss. But he still, somehow, managed to look good.
We all stared at each other, Ethan, Quinn and me.
"Are you really protecting her?" Quinn asked Ethan in disbelief, staring at him like he had grown a second head. The question made him slightly tighten his grip around my waist. "What, are you guys sleeping together or something? Why are you protecting her? We should kill this bitch!" Quinn yelled in frustration. Her words made my cheeks burn.
"Uhm, no." Ethan simply said, quite unbothered by her complaints. Then he quickly opened his mouth again, "I mean, no we're not killing her and yes I am protecting her." He rambled.
Quinns eyes dropped to the wound on Ethans stomach, which he was still applying preassure to.
"Who stabbed you?" She asked, eyes narrowed.
"Tara." Ethan lied without skipping a beat. I looked up at him again, why was he lying?
"Dad is fighting both Tara and Sam right now. You should go and kill them." Ethan said to Quinn. She clenched her teeth. Then she suddenly locked eyes with me.
"You," She said, pointing her knife at my direction. "You will take him to a hospital, right now. If I find out that you ran and didn't help him, I'll gut you like a fish." I simply nodded, not daring to say anything else.
She gave us both a last look, before putting on her Ghostface mask again and disappearing.
Once she was gone, Ethan released his grip on my waist, and slouched over.
"Fucking hell, Y/n." He said, breathing in. "It was a bit rude to stab me, I thought we had a, uhm. You know, a moment, back there."
I simply stared at him. Then I shook my head. He really do need to get to a hospital. Maybe they can, I don't know, put him through therapy or something. Considering how he protected me from Quinn, he isn't completely evil. Maybe he isn't completely gone.
He leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. Obviously in pain.
"You need help." I said. I walked up to him, and put his arm around my shoulders so that he could support himself on me. "We need to go." I said, while beginning to walk towards the exit with Ethan.
"I'll follow you." He said underneath his breath. I couldn't help but smile.
"Thank you." I said, looking at his face. "If you hadn't shown up, Quinn would have..." I stopped, not wanting to finish that sentence. Ethan didn't answer either, he only looked at me. Like I was the only thing he could see right now.
This boy, he is a murderer. A monster. He has done unforgivable things. But looking at him now, I could only see the boy that had protected me. Who still stood by me, even after I had stabbed him. I really need to get him to a hospital. Because I don't want him to die either.
