Chapter 6: Help My Brother

After 2 days of listen to Lan Xichen calm and healing music Wei Wuxian check up on Lan Wangji. "You said you want to go to the Nie clan?" Wei Wuxian asked without looking at Lan Xichen.

"That's right. You can stay if you want too. It won't take long."

With a just a snap of his finger they arrive above the Nie clan. Wei Wuxian covered the whole clan with dark energy, "Wei xiong!" All of the Nie clan come out to see Lan Xichen and Wei Wuxian above their clan.

They watch as the two come down into their clan. "Xichen ge," Lan Xichen walk over to where Nie Huaisang and Nie Mingjue is at. "Xichen, why are you with Wei Wuxian?" Nie Mingjue asked.

"I ask Wei gongzi to take me here. I need to speak with you, can we talk alone?" Nie Mingjue glanced at a dull looking Wei Wuxian, then back to Lan Xichen, "everyone go back to your position. He won't do anything to us," once the Nie disciple left, Lan a Xichen and Nie Mingjue walk into the main room.

"Wei xiong."

"Nie Xiong."

"Can I ask you to save my brother?" This confuse Wei Wuxian. "Save your brother? Why should I save your brother Nie Huaisang?" Nie Huaisang know what Wei Wuxian is talking about.

"I know that he went to war against you. I told him it wasn't your fault that Wen Ning went out of control. I know that your not that kind of person to kill someone who you don't like. So is not your fault. Wei xiong, I believe in you. Please help my brother, I am sure he will help you out. I will also help you figure out the truth."

Wei Wuxian look inside of the house, "Something wrong with your brother?"

"Well you see..." Nie Huaisang tell Wei Wuxian about how his brother always act up even after Lan Xichen play for him and then it was Jin Guangyao who was playing for him. He even tell Wei Wuxian what happen at there Nie clan tomb.

"The only way to figure out what kind of song Jin Guangyao play for your brother is to look into his mind. Maybe Lan Xichen will know what kind of song Jin Guangyao was playing."

"What method do you think we can use?" Nie Huaisang went to the front of the main room as he look into the room. "One word: Empthay. The question is....will your brother let us do it?"

"I will ask him. But do you think you can help him?"

"If we see what Jin Guangyao have done to him then I can help him."

Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue look at Nie Huaisang and Wei Wuxian who is talking to each other, "You think what we saw is the truth? All Jin Guangshan want is Wei Wuxian Yin Hufu?" Nie Mingjue asked Lan Xichen.

"It is the truth. Remember at that time during the banquet at Jinlintai. Jin Guangshan won't stop asking Wei Wuxian to hand over his Yin Hufu. He even make up lies that Wei Wuxian is training the Wen to go against us when it is all a lies."

"He want all of us to go against him but what about what happen at the Qiongqi path?"

"Remember what Wei Wuxian said, "who was it that they are trying to ambush?"

"This whole mess started with the Jin clan?" Lan Xichen nodded his head, "That is why I am here. Do you think you can help Wei Wuxian?"

"Da ge, Xichen ge, there something we need to ask you?" Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen looked at each other then back to Nie Huaisang. "What is it, Huaisang?"

"Do you remember what happen to Zonghui?" Nie Mingjue think back to what happen at their clan tomb, "Didn't you said that he was kill by the spirit?" Nie Huaisang shake his head no.

"I lie. Da ge, he was kill by you but....."

"But what Huaisang?" Nie Mingjue is angry, yet at the same time he was sad and hurt because Nie Zonghui was/is his best right hand man and his best general.

"He wasn't kill by you. I play the song that Jin Guangyao have taught me before we leave. The song, it didn't stop you. I feel like....the song he play and I play, didn't help you at all. It cause you to become more worst then before. That is why, Wei xiong and I want to enter into your mind to see what kind of song he has play for you ever since Xichen ge taught it to him."

"Mingjue Xiong is this true? I always thought that Jin Guangyao playing for you will help you. Did the song he play wasn't the right one?" Nie Mingjue eye move back and forth, that is when Lan Xichen remember that day when Nie Mingjue threw up blood.

"Mingjue Xiong can you let us see it? Only that memories right, Wei gongzi?" Lan Xichen asked Wei Wuxian.

"Yes, only that memories," 'is not like I want to see anything else.'

They all went back inside of the main room, Lan Xichen closed the door and seal it. This way no one can disturb them.

"Let's begin," Nie Mingjue sit down in the middle with Nie Huaisang, Wei Wuxian and Lan Xichen standing around him.

Wei Wuxian put his hand on top of Nie Mingjue head, "Nie Xiong," he hold his hand out for Nie Huaisang to take. Nie Huaisang did the same for Lan Xichen.

All three enter into Nie Mingjue mind. They see a scene where Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue is in a room together. Nie Mingjue is meditating while Jin Guangyao is playing on the guqin.

Lan Xichen listen to the song that Jin Guangyao is playing for Nie Mingjue. "No, this isn't the song. This isn't the Lan clan cleansing song." They come out from the memories of Nie Mingjue.

Wei Wuxian pull out his Yi Hufu, he let it float above Nie Mingjue head. Both Nie Huaisang and Lan Xichen see dark mist coming out from Nie Mingjue body.

"This is when sect leader got hit by Wen Rouhan yin iron. If Jin Guangyao keep on playing for Sect leader Nie, then he will go into Qi deviation. He can use this energy to control Sect leader Nie."

About an hour later all of the yin iron inside of Nie Mingjue is gone. Then everything around them flow into the Yin iron. "This is...."

"The energy that cause the death of each clan leader."

"Now is clean."

"Wei gongzi, can we head to Gusu?"

"Gusu? Why?" Wei Wuxian doesn't like the sound of this. "There is a book that I need to look at. I know what kind of song Jin Guangyao was playing."

"Fine." Before they go Nie Huaisang said, "Wei xiong, I will help you find the truth. No matter what I will help you. Thank you for saving my brother."

Wei Wuxian take Lan Xichen by his shoulder, the two disappear from there. "Da ge, since Wei Wuxian have help you. You should do the same?"
