𝐓he trio rush into the Gryffindor common room under the cloak, just before a prefect walked by them. They sigh in relief. They were in the clear... well, for a good couple of seconds. A flood of Gryffindors enter the common room on their way to the Great Hall. Students were walking left and right, almost bumping into the cloak. Hurriedly, the Golden Trio run up into the boys' dorm. No one is inside.

Ron rips off the cloak from their heads and lets out a deep breath. "Bloody hell, there are way to many people there."

Hermione pats down her hair as she responds, "I'm glad your brain is functioning properly." Ron gives her the side eye then looks away.

"Girls," he mutters.

Harry ruffles his hair without speaking. Hermione and Ron notice the worry etched onto his face. They put a halt in their bicker and console their friend.

"We're going to help her, mate," Ron tells him with a pat on his back.

"We know how much she means to you, Harry. And she knows that, too." Hermione gently reminds him. "After we sort this out, you'll have a proper chance."

Harry Potter looks at his best friends. A wave of gratitude washes over him and his shoulders relax. A small grin replaces his previously downturned lips. "Thanks guys."

Ron smirks. "What else did you expect is to do? Leave you feeling like rubbish?"

"Of course not," Harry replies. The three share a moment of temporary peace. That is, until Ron's stomach grumbles in protest.

"I'm getting a sign. A sign to eat breakfast."

Harry and Hermione chuckle. "Let's go."
