"𝐍o, no, no..." Harry rushes to Cassiopeia's body just before it hits the floor. She's cold. So, so, cold.
He hugs her to his chest, muttering 'no' on and on until the library doors crash open.
"What is-"
Cassiopeia's mother stops dead in her tracks. "What have you done...?"
Everyone is shocked.
"We-"
"You killed her!" Madame Sung runs to her daughter out of desperation. "Murderers, all of you!" She snatches Cassiopeia from Harry's arms and hugs her tightly. "My-" her voice cracks, "my daughter. YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER!"
"We did not!" Hermione cries. "I promise-"
"Lies!" The older woman interrupts. "I knew better than to let the lot of you- you cowards! Fools! Scum of Earth!" Indefatigable curses escapes her lips and the children only listen in silence. Because, no matter what they do or say, Cassiopeia will- cannot come back.
