32: Motorcycles part I

Kaitlyn:

I sat on the bed with wet hair reading when Alayna finally got out of the shower. "I'll go get Theo and tell him it's time to come in." I put my book down and opened the door.

The cool breeze hit my exposed arms and legs. I shivered. "Theo we're going to go to bed now."

"You could have died today." He said staring out at the ocean.

"We all could have I wasn't the only one." I justified.

"Yes but your the only one I care about! Not that I don't give a shit about Alayna and Draco but you were on my mind the entire time we were apart and it drove me crazy!" He turned to look at me now and he was crying.

"Theo..." I walked up to him and gave him a hug. "You were on my mind the entire time too and I'm grateful your alright. But I'm also grateful my other friends are alright."

"We should go back." He said pulling away from the hug.

"What? But we still have 2 more days!" Why was he thinking like this.

"This place is dangerous. There is something here I can feel it. I know you've felt it. So has Alayna and Draco but you guys are all choosing to ignore it and I don't know why! Something is very wrong here and we need to leave immediately!" I think he was having a panic attack.

He sat back down on the outdoor couch running his hands though his damp hair. He was shaking a little and his fingers were visibly trembling.

"Yes, I have felt it. I felt it on the plane, I felt it when we got here, I felt it in the cave and I feel it now. But I don't want to let a feeling ruin our vacation. So let's just go inside and get some sleep. We can figure this all out tomorrow." I tried my best to convince him to stay even though I knew if he was totally set on leaving, he would drag me back home even if I didn't want to go.

"And we can get motorcycles." I winked and he smiled. There we go.

"Alright come on." He led me inside and locked the door behind us.

We turned the lights off and climbed into bed. "Hey Dray." Alayna started.

"No! Not this again!" He shook his head and turned away from Alayna who was giggling.

I woke up to Theo was awake next to me reading. At least he stayed inside today and didn't disappear outside. Alayna was also awake and she was picking out her outfit quietly on the floor.

"Morning." I mumbled taking a sip of water from the bottle I left on my nightstand.

"Hey love." Theo placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Morning KK. Mattheo and I were talking and he said that you said we could get motorcycles and ride around today. It's second to last full day on the island after all." Alayna stood up looking at the three outfits she had laid out in the floor.

"Struggling?" I asked looking at her twirl her hair.

"Just a little bit." She responded sarcastically.

"Why do girls take so much time figuring out what to wear?" Theo asked. "It takes me 5 seconds to get dressed."

"That's because you don't care." Alayna replied throwing one outfit back in her suitcase.

"I do care! I'm not trying to impress everyone though." Theo argued back.

I got out of bed and began to pick out my outfit for the day. "KK can we match? We both have our white crop tops and jean shorts." Alayna asked as I began to shuffle through my clothes.
