Surprisingly, my toe was healing pretty fast. I was limping, and it only hurt sometimes. I didn't even need crutches I could just walk around with my boot. But, my mom wasn't convinced. She had me take 2 weeks off of work. So, when she was at work, I did chores around the house instead.

The first week soda came and visited me all the time, but now he's not coming at all. No calls or anything. I called Steve and he says he hasn't seen him either.

So, today I decided to venture out to try and find him. I felt like I had searched the whole town and he was nowhere to be seen. I didn't even think I'd have to check this place, but it's the only place I haven't.

The bar. Sodas never drank a sip of alcohol in his life. And it's pretty hard to find a 16 going on 17 year old boy who doesn't drink. Sodapop is a happy go lucky guy who's told to "get drunk on just plain living."

But as soon as I opened the bar doors I saw him eyeing a shot glass. "Soda! What are you doing??" I asked walking quickly over to him. "Robyn..?" Soda looked rough. His face was pale and his eyes were wide.

He had dark circled under his eyes. "Soda what's wrong what's going on?" "I-I I'm just missing Sandy man." He stuttered out. I felt myself cringe at the mention of her name. How can he miss her so much when she's hurt him So bad?

"Soda I'm sorry but I can't sugar coat it anymore." I sighed and he looked at me. "You have to learn to move on. This isn't healthy.

Have you had anything to drink?" Soda shook his head and i glanced at the bartender who nodded confirming it. "Okay, let's go." I said and he got out of his seat. The bartender glared in response as he didn't get any money out of sodapop.

I drove soda home in silence until he spoke up. "I'm sorry." Soda said simply. "No I'm sorry too. I can't make your choices. I'm not in charge of you. I just hate seeing this girl who hurt you so badly alter who you are as a person." I sighed. "No, you were right. I don't plan on drinking ever and I plan to stay that way.

I need to try really hard this time to get over Sandy." I smiled. "I'm really proud of you Sodapop. Now go get some sleep." Soda laughed and closed his car door entering his house.
What has this boy done to me.

Really short chapter and I hate it but I feel like it's necessary. (462 words)
