The nerves started to kick in as we made our ways to the curtis house.
What if he regrets inviting me because I'm not fun? What if he doesn't like my dress? Is it to much? Too little? But my thoughts were stopped because we reached the house.

I took a deep breath and enter the house Parker on my heels. When I came in two-bit Steve and dally where on the couch while darry was in the kitchen and soda was who knows where. "Hi Robyn!" Darry called from the kitchen. "Hi." I said back making the three boys look at me.

Two bit whistled as a joke. (He knows I'm his sisters best friend and he's into blondes.) "Soda if you don't get your ass out here soon I'm gonna take Robyn before you." Dally winked and almost a millisecond later soda popped out of the hallway. "No you aren't!" He yelled back making everyone laugh.

He came down the hall and he looked great. He had a nicer shirt on than normal and then he saw me. "Wow you look great birdie." He said flashing me with his movie star smile. "Thank you." I gushed. "We'll soda now that your finally ready, we gotta head out to pick up Evie." Steve said getting up from the couch.

"Okay bye guys!" soda waved. "Be good alright? I'll be back later." I said kissing Parker's head. "Yeah yeah." He said rubbing the kiss off. I laughed to myself because I know he's never done that before he was just trying to act cool the gang.

We got in Steve's car and buckled our seatbelts. "You excited to see Evie?" Soda whispered to me. "Yeah I mean but last time she seemed like she didn't like me." I shrugged. "I'm sure she does. Your really nice." Soda smiled. I smiled back.

He stopped in front of a house that wasn't much different than mine. Not rich but not poor. Evie has shoulder length brownish blackish hair and blue eyes. She also wore a nose ring. Right now she had a short tight black dress on. She jumped in the front seat, and pecked Steve.

"Hi soda!" She smiled then looked at me. "Hi." She said kinda quietly before turning back to the front seat. I have soda a look that said: "told ya" he gave me a look of sympathy and whispered "maybes she's just shy. You've only seen her once before." He shrugged. I sighed and nodded.

Soda put his hand on my shoulder comforting and my heart was pounding the whole drive.
We got there and the place was PACKED. The inside had purple and blue lights and a dance floor in the middle.

We talked for awhile and to be honest I was kind of bored. But then it got worse when Steve and soda wanted to go play pool in the corner, leaving me and Evie alone. I kept fiddling with the ends of my hair. "So are you and soda a thing?" Evie is finally spoke up. "Oh no- no Sandy couldn't come so I'm here." I said quickly. She almost looked... disappointed?

Before I could think about it more we heard loud cheering. I looked over and it was Steve and soda winning $5 on a pool game. Me and Evie laughed. "Their such children." Evie commented. "For real!" I laughed back. Me and Evie talked for awhile while the boys played pool. Evie suddenly got up.

"Hey I was gonna get some shots, wanna come? I'll pay." She smiled. I glanced over at soda and he was talking to some blonde at the pool table. Smiling and laughing. She had a beer in hand. My breath hitched. This is a perfect opportunity to bond with Evie, and I could show soda I'm fun. "How bad could it be?" I asked smiling and following Evie.
