"Oh yeah, what did Cadence invite you guys to earlier?" Lucy's sipping on her hot chocolate while curling into a bright red Jas for some warmth, and presumably to be as close as possible to her.

"She wants us to go to your guys' Christmas event," The tallest of the group leans back into his chair, resting his large arm on the back of the couch behind Julian, who quickly leans into the touch.

My head raises from staring down at my own mug, "You guys are coming?" I ask, without thinking.

Their eyes trail over to me and I notice a flicker of, possibly, worry before one of them speaks again. "We would... unless you don't want us to?" Asher's standing with me by the balcony edge, a slight frown tugging on his features that he tries to hide behind his glass.

I glance over at the other two and notice a similar expressions on them as well. "Of course I want you guys to come!" My arms waving around, as they usually do when I'm particularly nervous, to express how sincere how I am. He shifts his hazel eyes over to me for the first time since we got up here, searching for something on my face that he most likely couldn't find as his lips tug upwards again.

"I'm so happy you guys agreed to come with me!" Cadence runs up to us after getting another drink, probably having overheard that part of the conversation. I turn away to watch the bustling city below while she sets up a time and place for them to meet up. Their agreements to whatever she's saying is dull in my ears as I focus on the horns beeping loudly beneath us.

"Anyways, I should probably get going, it's getting pretty late," she flips her hair, texting someone on her phone.

"I'll walk you home," Sebastian stands, and I get ready to start packing up as well until a hand wraps around my wrist to stop me. The slender fingers and the cool touch of metal immediately tells me who's holding onto me. The more graceful one of the loving trio keeps his eyes on his larger lover while tightening his grasp around me slightly as if he's silently telling me to wait.

Cadence doesn't waste a single moment to seize the opportunity as her arm quickly wraps around his much larger one, "that is just so sweet of you!" She's pulling him away before any of us can even get a word out and I notice she doesn't spare either of us a single glance.

I look back down to my lap where his hand is still resting on top of my own, "oh, sorry..." he gently pulls away, bringing his warmth with him which makes me have to hold back a pout. My urge to reach out and place his hand on mine again is pushed back as he starts to explain what's going on. "He's bringing her home because he's a gentleman like that, but we wanted to hang out here a little longer once he gets back,"

"Only if you want to, of course," Asher adds, changing seats to snuggle with Julian.

"Oh," I watch Lucy and Jas lose themselves in their own conversation about puppies, their arms flying everywhere as they talk about their favorite encounters with the cute animals, "sure." My smile feels so genuine it's bordering on painful as I look at my two friends falling even deeper for each other with each passing second right before my eyes.

"Do you think we'll ever get married?" I hear the bell ring for our next class, but the two of us swiftly ignore the chime and our fellow highschool schoolmates' chattering in the distance.

Ty's elbow is supporting his weight while we lay in the grass behind the school, the spring breeze running through our hair while he waits for my response.

"Do you want to get married?" His face looms over mine with scrunching brows since I answered his question with another question. His figure casting a shadow over mine while his eyes flit over my face for a few seconds.
