To say this weekend did not go as planned at all would be beyond an understatement. Not only did all three guys stay with me the entire time, they didn't even bring up what happened after dinner on Friday once. Not even when we were all sitting silently around the table during meals, or when we were gleefully playing random card games, that were picked up by Asher from their house, in the living room. They seemed to be set on doing anything and everything except ask about what was wrong with me.

When I restlessy woke up the next morning after my 'moment'... Julian came upstairs with breakfast in bed for me to munch on while he opened my curtains and tidied up.

They're so confusing...

I could barely convince them to actually go home Sunday evening, which was a feat in itself if you ask me. If it weren't for me physically shoving them through my doorway, I don't think they ever would've left. One thing that was definitely noticed by me, was Sebastian's unusually silent behavior. Sure, he's always the quietest of the group, but I think I could count the amount of words that left his mouth the past two days on one hand.

He was always there though, around us, taking part in activities, watching even, but never really spoke out unless necessary. Almost as if, for two days straight, he was lost in his own head. Whenever I would briefly leave whatever room we were occupying, to go to the bathroom for example, his eyes would follow me and they would swiftly find me again as soon as I re-entered the room.

However, as much as I would like to, I can't be thinking about them right now. Whatever was going on last weekend is already in the past, technically, and I need to be focusing on the task at hand, which just so happens to be:

"I need you to show Oliver the ropes," Sarah's ruby red fingernails tap away on her laptop, and she barely spares me a glance after throwing this new job onto me.

"Wait, excuse me?"

"You heard me," her right eyebrow twitches.

"Why me?" I sit down on the chair in front of her, which gets her to finally look up at me since I know for a fact she doesn't appreciate someone doing something they weren't specifically asked to do, especially around her. That includes sitting down in her chairs, but I can't just take a whole intern under my wing all of a sudden. What were they thinking?!

"Well, Mr. Popular, he asked if it would be possible to be put under your supervision for the time being," she then goes on to further explain how comfortable he already feels around me after his showaround with me.

Apparently, they really did end up choosing two interns this year. The second intern is none other than Layla, who will be learning alongside Oliver in our department during these next few months. "Since we're admittedly unprepared for these... turn of events, we need you to fill in to show him the basics, at least until we choose someone who'll be officially in charge of teaching him,"

"Who's in charge of Layla?"

She eyes me again, a ghost of twitch appearing on the corner of her glossy lips, "that would be the same person who was in charge of you during the beginning of your internship,"

"Cadence?" She nods, and gestures for me to leave as our conversation is apparently over.

Oh right, Cadence was the first person I went to if I had any questions and was the person I shadowed during my first three months of my internship. I rotated from person to person every three months, depending on both my interests and the schedule we followed that applies to all of our interns every year.

My second rotation was with the editorial team, the third was finance and sales - definitely not my strong suit - and the final rotation was our choice and I decided to come back up to the Media and Marketing team as I had the most fun here. I also happened to meet Lucy at that time and we got pretty close during the final stretch of my internship.
