Dream.

My greatest wish?
I wish that
I could go to sleep
And not wake up.

I wish that
I would dream.
Without end.
Without pain.

I would dream
That my mother
Was happy,
Was healthy.

I would dream
That my father,
Although loving,
Would accept me.

I would dream
That my brother
Was born without
Pain and heartbreak.

I would dream
That my lover
Didn't just pretend
For my body.

I would dream
Of a life I had never known
Of a life I was never given
Of a life different from this.

I wish I could dream,
Without end.
