Like oceans need boats
That sail upon them,
Exploring their surface,
Needing something, someone
To give them a purpose.

Like dehydrated bodies
That beg for the
Teeney tiniest drop of water
Hoping something, someone
Will give them an answer

Me?

Or, perhaps,

Why?

Did I do something?

Did you?

or was it just the timing?
Was it wrong?
Was I  wrong?
Was it too much?
