Arundel Holland

- the heretic -Born into a noble family, Arundel Holland was later disowned and excommunicated after his interest in Ancient Greek and Roman studies surfaced. Classical antiquity had been deemed taboo by the Church, yet Arundel sought to recover the history hidden and sometimes even destroyed at the hands of religious power. He and a fellow believer, often theorized to be his lover, smuggled relics and Classical texts to the Ottoman Empire for safekeeping and translation.
Michel Schumacher
̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶r̶r̶u̶p̶t̶e̶d̶'̶s̶ ̶c̶r̶i̶t̶i̶c̶
- the swan -"Michel Schumacher" is a name immortalized in history for its importance. Prophecy stated that a hundred years after a certain saint's execution, there will be "a swan that sings" of the truth. On its 100th anniversay, Michel Schumacher published his scathing theses on the Catholic Church's corruption and sale of indulgences to fund their private coffers. He was the man credited in textbooks as the pioneering figure of the Reformation.
Father Eden
̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶v̶i̶r̶t̶u̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶e̶s̶s̶i̶o̶n̶e̶r̶
- the priest -A known theologian and scribe who played a significant role in the Latin transcription of Biblical texts in the early middle ages. Some of his writings survive today. A tragedy befell the monastery he lived in after a series of documented murders that cumulated in a great fire. Curiously, a few surviving records of the monastery note that Father Eden was a baptized "foreigner".
Ilya
̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶e̶m̶p̶e̶r̶o̶r̶'̶s̶ ̶p̶o̶r̶c̶e̶l̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶d̶o̶l̶l̶
- the prostitute -Little is known about the youth named "Ilya". He is but a footnote in history known only for charming both the first king of the Kievan Rus and his queen. A scandal had him executed for his crimes... Yet modern scholars still speculate on the strange circumstances surrounding his death.
