The chat starts shit talking about Matt during stream

Third POV

It was Friday night and Matt was twitch streaming like usual. But this time, he was streaming by himself. Usually Matt would make his brothers join him to make him feel more comfortable, but Nick and Chris really didn't want to stream tonight and Matt couldn't convince them. Since Matt was really in the mood, he decided to just do it by himself. He's been trying to become more independent lately and this will really push him out of his comfort zone. 

Matt started his camera and began the stream. He rapidly gained about 2 thousand viewers.

"Hey guys" Matt said awkwardly, not used to being the only one speaking in front of thousands of people, "it's just gonna just be me today so I'm gonna continue playing the Hogwarts game"

Matt didn't really know what else to do. But after minutes of awkward silence and the chat spamming random shit, he decided a qna would help bring this more alive.

"Guys spam some questions in the chat and I'll try answer them"

The chat started going crazy, the most noticeable questions being "where is Nick and Chris?"

"Nick and Chris aren't here with me cause they just didn't want to stream. I'm pretty sure they're in their rooms right now" Matt said

The chat immediately started voicing their concerns and sadness. Matt just laughed at them and continued playing his game, while occasionally looking at the chat. 

But it didn't take long for the chat to turn from sadness to hatred and anger. Instead of talking about how much they miss Nick and Chris, they started turning to Matt. 

"Bro this stream would be so much better if Nick or Chris was here"

"Ur so quiet and boring without ur brothers"

"This is so boring I'm leaving"

"How do ppl even like you when you don't talk 💀"

Matt tried to ignore those comments but it was difficult to when there were hundreds of them on his screen. Hate comments really got to him and having them presented to him live was not helping. He tried his best not to cry since he would never dare to cry on stream and have that humiliation in front of his "fans"

Matt's best option right now was to stay silent and ignore the chat until it hopefully calmed down. But the comments never ended and he started loosing viewers til where there were only about a thousand left. 

Matt hated the situation he was in right now. He was on the verge of crying, he's loosing viewers, the chat just wants him gone, and he doesn't even have his brothers to support him. He just wanted to end the stream. But he knew if he did, he would look like a loser and baby for ending the stream not even 20 minutes since he began. 

The chat noticed Matt's glossy eyes and started mocking him, wanting him to start crying. Matt put his hood on to try hide his face but this only caused laughter in the chat. They were pushing him too far and matt just wanted to shut off his PC and cry on his bed, but didn't want to look like a baby.

After a few torturous minutes, Nick walked into Matt's room.

"Hey matty. I'm bored so I'll join you guys for a little" Nick sat down on the chair next to Matt's

Matt hummed in response.

Nick watched matt play his game, confused why he wasn't talking. He wasn't even responding to his comments. Bored, Nick decided to look at the chat, squinting to make sure he was reading them right.

"Dude what is the chat saying?!" Nick said in shock, surprised at how much crap they were saying about his brother, "Matt are you seeing this?!"

Nick leaned his head to try see Matt's face. He saw how glossy his eyes were and how his lips were slightly trembling.

"Ok guys I think we're gonna end the stream here. Uhm goodnight, do your homework, and uh bye" Nick said while ending the stream.

When it was over, Matt turned around and immediately hugged Nick, crying into his chest.

"Shhh it's okay baby it's over now" Nick soothed while rubbing Matt's back

Matt sobbed, releasing all the tears he built up during the stream.

"Th-they h-hate me nick! They all h-hate me!" Matt cried, staining nicks shirt with tears

"No one hate you babe, I promise. But can you please explain to me what happened? Why was the chat... you know"

"I don't know I didn't do anything to them!" 

Nick frowned. How could they're fans be so cruel to his innocent brother? Nick knew how sensitive Matt was to hate comments. He was getting better at ignoring them but Nick knew this just destroyed all his progress. 

"Do you wanna go to Chris's room?" Nick asked

Matt nodded.

Nick picked up the smaller and led them downstairs to Chris's room. Chris was laying on his bed when he saw Nick enter with a crying Matt. 

"Matt?? What happened, what's wrong?" Chris sat up

Nick placed Matt next to Chris and Matt immediately clung onto him. Chris moved him so Matt was in between his legs as he wrapped his arms around him.

"What happened Nick?" Chris asked, since he knew Matt wasn't able to talk right now

"The chat was talking crap about Matt when he was streaming. Idk why" Nick sighed

"What? How could they" Chris said angrily while patting Matt's back

"I know right" Nick sat down on the bed

They sat down silently until Matt started feeling better, while giving him comforting words. A few minutes later, Matt was asleep in Chris's arms. Chris smiled at him as he carefully laid down so they were more comfortable. Matt's head was on his chest as his arms and legs were wrapped around him. Chris laughed as he felt like a tree that a sloth was clinging onto. Nick laid down as well as he hugged Matt's waist and spooned him from behind. Nick took a .5 of all of them together, which will definitely be in the photo dump. They soon all fell asleep.

The triplets stopped streaming for a couple weeks until Matt was finally comfortable and ready to do so. When they did, the chat was much more positive. If there's one thing that the triplets learned, it's to never stream alone <3

Sorry that this was pretty bad but hopefully I made it up with the descriptive cuddling? Idk lol

Also sorry again for being kinda inactive this weekend. I was hoping to complete at least 2 requests but only did one 😭 but that doesn't mean you still can't leave more 🫢
