Upset Matt

Matt gets pouty when he doesn't get what he wants

Tw: age regression

Third POV

 "Cmon Matt, we have to go. It'll be really quick I promise" Nick said while trying to calm the younger down

"Nooooo I don't want to go!!" Matt cried

The triplets had to go to Target for some groceries but Matt was throwing a tantrum because he didn't want to go.

"Please Matt. Chris is already waiting for us in the car"

"Nuh-uh" matt crossed his arms and shook his head

"Fine.. I guess me and Chrissy will just go by ourselves and leave you home alone. There might be monsters in the closet and you'll have no one to protect you" Nick said sarcastically

"NOOOO SCARY MONSTERSS!! DONT LEAVE ME" Matt shrieked and clung onto Nick

 "We won't leave you babe, just sit still for a little so I can change you" Nick laughed and kissed his cheek

Nick helped change Matt into a sweater and shorts then carried him to the car. They both sat in the back.

"What took you guys so long?" Chris asked while waiting in the drivers seat (Chris has his license in this)

"Matt wasn't cooperating but now you're a good boy right?" Nick said while looking at Matt and handing him his pacifier.

Matt nodded his head as he put the pacifier in his mouth

Chris smiled and started driving to Target. The drive there was pretty calm. Matt wasn't throwing any new tantrums and there was no traffic. They soon arrived at Target.

"Ok Matt, we're here. Lemme take this out" Nick said

Matt shook his head

"Matty, not this again. I know you like it but you know you can't wear this in public" Nick sighed

Nick took out the pacifier which left Matt in a frown

"I don't like you Nicky" Matt turned his head away

"Matt, don't say that. Nick is just trying to protect you from getting bullied" Chris defended Nick, "say sorry"

"I'm sorry Nicky" Matt hugged Nick

"It's okay bubs, I know you didn't mean it" Nick said

They soon got out of the car and grabbed a shopping cart.

"Wanna sit in the shopping cart matty?" Chris asked

"Yes!!" Matt giggled while Chris carried him into the cart.

The cart was big enough for Matt to sit inside with his knees tucked in. Nick pushed the cart into the store.

The first part of the trip was alright. Nick and Chris grabbed the groceries and supplies that they needed and placed it in the cart. Everything was going to plan until they had to pass the toy aisle. That was always the hardest part, especially when Matt was regressed.

"Oooh!! Can we get that please!!" Matt squealed while pointing to a stuffed animal

"Not today Matt" Nick said while trying to speed past the aisle as fast as he can

"Why nooott" matt whined

"We already bought you one last week, plus, remember mom, dad, and Nate just sent us a bunch more" 

But Matt was not giving up that easily. He really wanted that stuffed animal.

"Pleaaaasee nickyyyy!! I promise I'll be good!!" Matt pleaded

"No means no matt. Maybe another day" Nick said, getting slightly annoyed.

Matt looked over at Chris

"Will you get me it Chrissy?" Matt asked

Chris was basically a sucker for matt whenever he's regressed and loved to spoil him whenever he can. Although Chris really wanted to buy it for him, he's been learning to not be such a pushover. 

"Sorry sweetie, not today" Chris kissed his forehead  

Matt pouted and crossed his arms, refusing to even look at any of them. Nick continued pushing the cart and into the correct aisle they were supposed to go to. Matt was still super upset and Chris felt bad so he quickly checked out a small Hershey bar and gave it to Matt. But he didn't accept it since he was still super upset. They finished loading their cart with stuff and were heading to the check out, they had to pass the toy aisle again. When they entered, Matt saw the same doll still waiting on the same shelf and now he wanted it even more.

"It's still there!! Can we please get it pleaaaaase!!!!" Matt whined

"No Matt. We're going to the check out then going home" Nick said sternly

But Matt was not having it this time. He jumped out the cart and ran to the toy.

"I'm not leaving until we get it!!" Matt said

"Mathew, come back here now. I told you, we are not getting it" Nick rose his voice a little

"Cmon, matty. We'll get it another day, I promise" Chris said

Matt kept on jumping and pleading. Luckily the store was pretty empty so no by standers could hear him but it was still super bothering to Nick. Soon Nick had enough.

"No Matt!! I told you way too many times already. We. Are. Not. Getting. It. What's so hard to understand?? We literally have a whole closet at home filled with toys JUST FOR YOU!! And yet, you still want more and more. Chris even bought you a whole chocolate bar but you were still very ungrateful because it wasn't what you wanted. You've been misbehaving for the WHOLE DAY today and you expect us to buy you a toy?! What do you have to say for yourself" Nick yelled.

He didn't raise his voice that high but it was enough to scare Matt. Matt covered his ears and squeezed his eyes shut. Tears were falling out of his eyes. He made Nick mad and he felt terrible. Matt ran over to Chris and hugged him. He sobbed into his chest. Chris hugged him back and tried to soothe him.

Nick saw how Matt was and immediately felt bad.

"Shhh it's ok matty, I'm sure Nick didn't mean it" Chris soothed him

"Noo he did!! Nicky's a big meanie!!" Matt cried

Chris looked at Nick, expecting him to say something but Nick didn't really know what to say. He just hurt Matt all because he wanted a toy. Matt was regressed, of course he would be acting like this and Nick yelled at him for it. 

"Matty, I'm so so sorry. I just lost my temper for no good reason" Nick tried to hug Matt but he pushed him away

"Nooo you hate me!! Nicky hates me!!" He cried

"Sweetheart, Nick doesn't hate you. He didn't mean to hurt you. He just got a bit carried away with his temper" Chris said 

"Yeah, I'm so sorry for yelling at you but I don't hate you at all! I love you so much" Nick said

"D-do you really?" Matt turned to look at him

"I do" 

Matt hugged him and Nick happily hugged back, kissing his forehead. They continued to go to the check out and they ended up buying the stuffed animal which made Matt overjoyed. Chris and Nick loved seeing his reaction, which was mainly why they always spoil him when he's regressed. They also bought some ice cream then went back home.
