The young man before Felix seemed to just now realise how much danger he was in, as he began taking small steps back. The blond laughed at the action - he seemed so confident a few moments ago.

"Apologise for stabbing my boyfriend." Felix practically growled, taking two steps forward for each step back the male took.

It was only when they were both back at the front of the car, the headlights shining over Felix's back and the male's front, did he truly see how young he looked.

What the hell is a guy my age doing running around trying to kill vampires?

"N-No." The other stuttered, though quickly regained composure. "He deserved it."

"I'm assuming you saw what happened back there." Felix gestured toward the street himself and Chan had emerged from before coming to the car, where that man was killed by his boyfriend.

"You take innocent lives with no remorse." The boy spat, with quite a lot of force for someone who was under threat.

"Innocent? Hilarious." Felix chuckled sourly, though he was in no mood to explain himself. "Get out of here before all three of you join him."

The man stayed put for a moment, seemingly weighing out his options in his head. To run away from an attack he initiated would look cowardly, though at least he'd leave with his life. Trust him to mess up the facts on how to hurt a vampire.

"Guys, let's go. They're not worth it." The male shrugged, turning to walk away.

Felix huffed, deciding that letting him make that comment was justified, considering he was retreating. Once the men began to walk away, at a rather quick pace all the same, Felix ran over to tend to his injured boyfriend.

"Shit, are you okay?" Felix uttered, pulling the elder's shirt up to inspect his back.

The wound was still bleeding, and the skin around it seemed red and agitated. Must have been pure silver.

"What the f-fuck." Chan groaned, trying to stand as he strained to straighten his back.

"I don't know. First time I've seen them." Felix replied, hooking the brunet's arm over his shoulder to guide him back to the car.

Guess he was driving home.

Although they had a cracked windscreen and no back window, the drive was safe enough given the lack of cars on the road. As always, the town was quiet once stores shut down for the day. Rather than driving to their apartment, however, the two decided to go to Minho and Jisung's, hoping one of them had a blood bag spare to aid in Chan's healing.

Jisung had moved in with Minho just a month after Chan's transition. Minho had plenty of spare rooms, and with a relationship blossoming between the two, it seemed like a better option than 'sleeping next door to a bunch of sex-crazed maniacs', as Jisung put it.

Felix hopped out of the car, running around to the passenger side to help Chan exit the vehicle. After a slight struggle and some pained groans from the elder, the two were hobbling to Minho's front door.

Three heavy knocks and about thirty seconds later, Minho was at the door, seemingly confused until he saw blood on Felix's hands, and Chan crouched in pain.

"Holy shit, what happened?" Minho stepped aside to let the two in, closing the door and running to Chan's other side to guide him to the kitchen.

"He got stabbed with silver, do you have any blood?" Felix questioned, tone firm but eyes flooded with worry.

"Yeah, I'll go get it." Minho decided to save the questions until after Chan began healing.

Opening the fridge and rummaging through some steel lunch boxes, Minho finally emerged with two bags of blood in his hand - likely stored for emergency, which this situation could be classified as. He handed Chan the first bag, running a hand through his freshly dyed, plum-coloured hair in distress.
