Felix was very grateful he had come home when he did, as there were no people around to see him knock Changbin out cold right outside his apartment building.

There were also no people around to see him pick the elder up, and begin carrying him into the building and in the elevator. There were also no people around to see him stumble into the apartment with Changbin hanging over his shoulder as he fumbled with the door handle.

There was one person who witnessed him dump Changbin's unconscious body on to the sofa, though, and that was Chan.

"Oh my god." Was all he could say, staring with wide eyes at the unwavering boy laying below him.

"Listen, I know you're mad, but I promise this wasn't on purpose. He was outside the building, and started saying how he knew Jaewon was missing, and I may have let it slip that you killed him, and then he started threatening me, and you, and Hyunjin and Jisung, saying that Jaewon knew half of what he did and that he was going to kill us-" Felix had to stop himself, because he didn't know where his words were going after, and he was speaking too fast.

"I'm not mad." Chan said first, definitively. "Wait, you told him I killed Jaewon?"

"Well, he had it basically figured out, and then he was being so arrogant and thought I did something to him, and y'know, I don't like to lie-"

"You could have lied." Chan said, before backtracking a little. "Sorry, I mean, I guess not."

He was trying to own his actions as a vampire, which meant he had to own up to his kills.

"No, you're right. I said it on a whim, and it was dumb, but once he started talking a big game about how he knew everything about us, I kinda panicked, and well.." Felix stared at Changbin, who was still out cold. "Now he's unconscious on our couch."

Chan took a moment to process. Yes, Changbin being knocked out on their sofa was a very sudden, and irrational move on Felix's part, but considering he had spent the better half of the night convincing himself to kill the man, he was not freaking out as much as he should have been.

"Okay." Chan said, taking a reflexive breath as he stared at him. "What do we do now?"

Felix was surprised. He was expecting a more emotional reaction, or at least a scolding. He thought this would definitely invoke an argument of some kind, but Chan seemed to be taking it pretty well.

"I, uh, don't know." The blond said. "I didn't exactly plan this."

"Well, we can't leave him here. And, now that we have him, I don't think we should let him go either."

Felix's head whipped towards Chan in an instant. He was surprised, to say the least. This was the same man who was claiming capturing him would be a bad idea just less than a day ago.

"You don't?"

"I thought over our fight, and you're right. I don't give in to instinct enough. I mean, I tried to convince myself Changbin didn't know anything worth keeping him for, but clearly he does, and that's putting us in danger. I can't let me hanging on to my humanity threaten our safety."

Felix had to take a moment to process the words. He didn't realise his words, said out of anger in the heat of the moment, would actually transcend to Chan the way they did, let alone enough for him to act on them. He felt guilty, but also completely heart warmed that the elder had listened to him deeply enough to enact a change within himself.

If they weren't in such a panicked situation, Felix would take him then and there.

"Oh." Was all Felix could utter for a moment, unsure if he should also apologise, or thank the brunet.
