Every single day is filled with events, some planned and some not are planned.
Today is a beautiful day...A garden filled with green grass, comfy chairs and also a carpet spread out.
Sultana is sitting comfortably on one of the comfy chairs, her free red gown covering her legs which she folded up,with the book she's holding, long forgotten."Dada-Boddo,this is unfair. He should do it! No explanation." She argued. They have been playing games and this game currently,it's either you answer a question within a span of ten seconds or you take a shot of lemon juice.
It's sultan's turn and he's claiming he's got ulcer and Dada-Boddo supported him. They organized a dinner party at Qalb's house,he wanted to introduce all of them to each other hence the intimate dinner party.
He excused himself to his home office to sort some things out. Now,Sultana is left with Dada-Boddo who came back to her husband's house three days back in Abuja,Her husband,Ameer and sultan."Ain't no way I'm taking this man! Haram!"
Sultan said standing up."Am I missing on something? Qalb chirped in.
The white T-shirt he's wearing is slightly hugging his body, showing off the athletic figure beneath it.
He finds it really comfortable sitting near Sultana so he did just that."Nothing, just two cheaters here! Now you're going to be on my side. Hold him down while I force this lemon juice down his throat."
"Not happening,Dada Boddo we are done with this game koh? Let's think of another."
"Sultan fa!"
"Who's she taking about? Ni da na ke khadijah."
Sultan's statement made them burst into laughter. It's been a while since Sultana had a good time and it feels surreal.
"You look really good when you smile. Nora."
Trying so hard to push her blush back, which she failed woefully, she adjusted her sitting position and picked up her phone.
"Errm..sultan i think we should head home."
"Don't be like that broo! I'll be going to Khalid's house from here. You've to find your way back!"
Sultan replied with his hands on his waist turning like a ballet dancer.
"Let me drop you off." Qalb offered.
She said her goodbyes with them Dada Boddo because they were also leaving and they took off.
They ride wasn't exactly a short one but filled peace and calm.
"Yup! We're here finally."
Qalb unlatched his seatbelt to have a better sight of her.
He stretched his palm for her to slid hers into. Hesitant, she clenched the tip of her veil. Instead of pulling back,he stretched his hands further and held onto hers, caressing it slowly."Look at me." She looked up. His eyes were calm.
How can someone be this peaceful in life? She thought to herself. All her life has been nothing but chaos, heart filled with revenge and hatred."Stop limiting yourself Nora. I know there are a lot of things you want to spill out,all of things you want to tell me but You are stopping yourself. I don't know how long you're going to take to be that comfortable with me...."
He paused for a while and exhaled.
"Whatever it is,I promise not to judge. I might be angry but I won't be angry forever."
He removed his hands from hers, took it up to her cheeks.
"You are my light. I will give up the world to be with you. You make me want to take care of you,to serve you breakfast in bed, then pick you up and take you to the bathroom afterwards and give you a calming shower. Heck Sultana! I want to make you the happiest woman on earth,I want to take you to shopping, have movie nights with you on the rainy days and on the Dry days,I want to bake with you in the kitchen..." he paused to analyze the look on her face.
