"Shall we?" Anwar said opening the car door to Sultana. With a little smile, she entered, taking a moment to relish the beautiful scent that will always get to her. Sister Halima is right, the right love for her is right in front of her and she is not letting it slip away. For comfort, she wrapped her hand in Anwar's while he drives, placing her head on his shoulders.
At that moment every that mattered was Anwar's little family, his only family Sultana. He a peck on the veil covering her hair and focused on the road.
"Thank you...for everything." She whispered loud enough for him to hear.
"shush...don't thank me, or wait i want something." With his hands on the steering wheel and the other holding her, he turned to look at her. "I want the whole of you, i want to sacrifice you." He teased.
She let out a chuckle and nod her head slightly. "Can you take me to Qalb's house?"
He was shocked at her statement but he quickly masked it up with a neutral expression. He released a sigh he had no idea he was holding and parked the car.
"Look at me Sultana, you can do this whenever you are ready, it doesn't have to be today..."
"Its okay. I am ready for this."
"sure?"
"I have never been so sure." With that they drove to Qalb's house.
"I can wait for you here if you want me to.." Anwar said parking the car just right in front of the house.
"There is no better place i want you to be than my side right now." With her hands clutching onto his, they walked in.
The house was quiet...Anwar moved in after series of salams to check the rooms.
"The house is empty." He said slightly alarmed. She frowned her eyebrows and dailed his number but no response, she dailed again, still no response.
"I don't know but i have a bad feeling about this." Sultana said sitting down on one of the couches. Her eyes already filled up with tears but she forced them back. "I am afraid something might have happened." She added.
"Think positively Baby girl. All is well In sha Allah. They probably went out or something." Even with Anwar's attempt to calm her down, she can't help but feel stressed out. Several thoughts running in her head. Leaving his house open is so unlike him. From the memories she have of him, Qalb is a very sensitive person and he won't take chances. So it's either an emergency occurred that he had to rush out or an entirely different scenario which she hopes not.
"Maybe we should go." Anwar voice came through but his attention was diverted to the door where he saw Qalb coming in. Sultana's attention moved to him as he enters. walking tiredly and from his eyes, a person can tell he is in distress. She stood up and walked to him trying to hold his hands but he flinched back.
"Don't!" There was anger, hatred and pain laced in his voice as he stared at her with utter disgust.
"Qalb" She said softly, her heart beat increasing by every passing second. 'Clearly frustrated he pushed her down. Her back forcefully kissing the ground causing her to wince in pain. A frustrated Anwar ran to his wife, gently helping her up.
"Man are you nuts?" Anwar said when he sat Sultana down on on of the chairs.
"I will assume that question is for your wife, A kidnapper!"
Anwar's neutral face turned to look at Sultana's confused one. She made a haste move to where they are both standing. "What are you saying Qalb, calling me a kidnapper?"
"It's not like i am lying. You threatened her! Said all sort of stuffs insults and declared i am your enemy. You didn't stop at that, you got your men to kidnap her!" He spitted with so much venom. Still confused, Sultana asked. "What are you saying Qalb? I will never do such thing."
