Driven to be the number one hero

Chapter 49

Izuku was lost in the moment listening to pony sing he didn't even realize that he was crying. He just continued to look at Pony as she sang. He felt Eri snuggle in and placed his arm around her but he never took his eyes off Pony. He was brought back to reality when Pony leaned in caressed his cheeks and kissed his forehead when she was done. He couldn't move until she released his cheeks she blushed as she bowed. Eri wiped the tears from her eyes then looked up to Izuku and said daddy your crying too. Izuku looked at Eri and began wiping the tears from his eyes. He began blushing and got embarrassed that Eri saw him crying.  Izuku got even more embarrassed when Eri looked at Pony and asked does this make you my mommy now. Pony blushed even harder. Izuku looked like a tomato as he began to speak wait, what, Eri what gave you that idea. None of the other girls kiss you and you let her do it. Pony's mother took great pleasure hearing the little girls honest remark. Pony's dad cleared his throat and said a kiss doesn't make her your mom. But lets see what the future brings he continued. Pony sat next to Eri and asked if she liked the song. Eri said that she liked the song but it made her cry.

Momo was eating dinner with her parents when her father asked if Momo knew that she and Izuku were in close competition for top grades academically. You never said he was that smart Momo's mom said I'm very impressed she continued. His teachers all say that he is a very diligent in his studies and even though he is now raising Eri he hasn't slacked up in any of his classes. Momo beamed at her father. So when are the two of you going to make it official her mother asked. Momo blushed then frowned i don't know she said. Even when he came over for dinner he didn't make a move on me she continued. We know he didn't her mom said. But I can tell that he really likes you by how he looks at you her father said. What should I do Momo asked. To Momo's surprise it was her dad that answered the question. He is a humble simple man ask Eri what he likes and go from there her dad said. Bring him and Eri a homemade bento for lunch tomorrow and eat with them he continued.

The Ochaco family was joined by the Asui family for dinner the fathers really enjoyed talking with each other while escorting Izuku. When Ochaco's dad found out that it was his daughters that Izuku saved from the slime villain. Then how he reached out to them to let them know that he was sorry that he didn't get there sooner. Ochaco's dad invited them to join them to learn more about this young man. Izuku seemed to good to be true even his teachers said that he even helps the students that fall behind to catch them up to the rest of the class. Ochaco's dad told Tsuyu's dad about how Izuku leaped from the third floor to save both Eri and Ochaco then turned into a werewolf to take down the villains. While the two men were talking the women were prying into their daughter's relationship with this young man.  Both of  the older women enjoying the look of  embarrassment on their daughters faces. Ochaco's mom reminded her of the hug in the mall and how Izuku whispered in her ear. Tsuyu's mom told them how Tsuyu fell on top of Izuku and how both of them turned as red as tomatoes. Both girls began blushing as the women began to giggle. It was Beru that said even though Izuku is definitely doing a great job with Eri she needs to have a mother figure in her life. That statement made both girls blush even more when they looked at each other.

When Izuku got home from the Karaoke bar he was carrying Eri who fell asleep on the way home she really enjoyed herself. He remembered Pony's warm lips kissing his forehead when his father spoke bringing him back to the moment. Looks like Eri is exhausted where did you go his father asked. We went to a Karaoke bar with Pony's family we ate sang and we enjoyed ourselves Izuku said. Dad, Pony sang a sad song for me i didn't even realize i was crying Izuku said. When she was done she leaned in and kissed my forehead he continued. Then Eri asked her if she was going to be her new mom i wanted to melt into the ground i was so embarrassed Izuku said. While i was driving home i gave it a lot of thought, should i begin to date to try to find a mom for Eri. She deserves to have a mom or are the girls that i hang out with enough Izuku asked. All Might looked into his son's eyes and said you shouldn't rush into a relationship for Eri All Might said. But i do think that you should start thinking about what is it you want in a relationship and maybe you should go out on date's he continued. Before you take anyone seriously you need to see how they treat Eri and do they include her in the things that they plan for you his father said. Izuku thought about that and said thanks dad let me put Eri to bed. Oh and before i forget his father said tomorrow be prepared to fight your going to be a part of the show Professor Aizawa spoke about.

As All might watched his son taking Eri to her room he began to wonder if he should have started dating to give Izuku a mother maybe he might have been less spartan like growing up with a woman giving him more emotional support.
