The class was beginning to think that the randomizer was rigged. Once again Ochaco was paired up with Izuku. The fact that the two of them made a great team didn't sit well with certain people. Today was a team event, the objective of the event was to rescue the hostage. Izuku was plowing through the bots as Ochaco covered his blind spots. The two of them moving in harmony, Ochaco dropped onto one bot which caused it to fall, she rode it down punching it's chest. She didn't see the other bot getting ready to attack her. Izuku ran and jumped he rolled across her back and kicked the other bot. when Izuku saw the hostage bot he pointed and said there. Ochaco used her quirk and jumped. She landed on Izuku's arm ran and jumped over a couple of bots. Grabbing the hostage bot and ending the exercise. In the viewing room the rest of 1A was watching. You have to admit that last part was pretty cool Kaminari said. It's like those two have been working with each other for years Jiro said. Adding fuel to the fire. When Izuku and Ochaco entered the viewing room All Might called the class together. Let's go over what they did right their mistakes and what improvements they should work on. 

During lunch Izuku was eating while his friends were talking about what happened over the break. When an elbow hit his head, oh look it's the school's prodigal child Monoma said. DON'T HIT MY DADDY Eri shouted. Monoma saw the look in Izuku's eyes and choose to focus on Izuku. I can't even get on my social media without seeing you Monoma said. Don't you have plenty of girls in your class why are you serenading one of my classmates he continued. A large hand chopped Monoma on the side of his neck causing him to black out. After school Eri stayed with Midnight as Izuku went with his father to training grounds Alpha. Ok Izuku your goal is to capture me. There are unknown threats in the area all should be considered hostile. You'll head over to the entrance and wait for the start signal good luck son. As soon as the signal went off Izuku vanished. It's just like All Might predicted he's working smarter dean Nezu said. Everyone switch to thermal optics he continued. Izuku heard the sounds of building's being destroyed and rushed to noise. As he advanced on All Might the first trap was sprung. His quirk was canceled and multiple things happened at once. He jumped to avoid the car All Might threw at him. As soon as he landed he began to roll narrowly avoiding getting shot. As soon as he got to his feet and had to defend himself from multiple professor Ectoplasm at once. As soon as his quirk returned Izuku snapped his fingers and all of the clones collapsed. Izuku used his quirk to vanish but not before being struck by a rubber bullet. Shit that hurt it seems that the professors aren't holding back. He heard another gunshot and Izuku hardened his shield. Izuku used his quirk and launched himself towards the roof the shot came from. He uncloaked as he landed next to a shocked professor Snipe. Izuku easily took down the professor and saw that he had thermal and night vision devices. Izuku put on the thermal vision and looked over the roof and found professor Aizawa. Izuku jumped off to a different rooftop used his quirk to vanish. As Izuku snuck up to him the ground Aizawa was on lifted straight up into the air. Great professor Cementoss is here as well. Once again Izuku couldn't use his quirk and to make matters worse All Might landed twenty feet from him. Izuku ran to the narrow pillar holding up professor Aizawa and just as Izuku hoped his quirk returned. Izuku looked up and snapped his fingers and watched professor Aizawa fall from his perch. His world went dark.

Izuku sat up Recovery Girl standing next to him what happened he asked. Your dad is a brute Recovery Girl said. While you were focused on catching Aizawa he knocked you out, then he caught Aizawa. My dad is awesome Izuku said. Your dad is a brute he hit you so hard your face bounced off the pillar Aizawa was on Recovery Girl said. You were out for thirty minutes she continued. Izuku knew better than to argue with Recovery Girl. All Might walked into the room how are you feeling he asked. Recovery Girl hit All Might with her cane, he's fine no thanks to you she said. He's clear to leave she continued. Good let's go before Recovery Girl knocks me out All Might said.

Izuku sat with his father outside on a bench, when his father said. You did very well considering the restrictions we put on you. You adapted quickly to your situations, you went after the biggest threats first. Which were Snipe and Aizawa, your downfall was speed and attention All Might said. I know you were going to set Aizawa down gently, but your attention should have been focused on me he continued. What can I do get faster Izuku asked. I constantly go over the speed drills you taught me he continued. All Might smiled. I'm getting old I'm not as quick as I used to be he continued. My last big fight with AFO proved that to me All Might said. Izuku could only look at his father he didn't know what to say. Son what would you say if I could give you my abilities, so that you can become the future number one hero. Dad what about you Izuku exclaimed. All Might smiled I'll retire knowing that the public will be in good hands. All Might stood up and exclaimed. Tell me son will you accept my power and strive to be the future number one hero. Yes Izuku said as he stood up and hugged his father.
