Izuku woke up and for the first time in a long time he didn't work out. He went through his stretching routine then he made breakfast. Eri woke to the smell of miso soup and the grilled fish. All Might walked into the kitchen and asked what was Izuku's plan for the day. Eri and I are going to the park. Then we're going to relax here for the rest of the day. That sounds great All Might said. tomorrow is going to be a a big day he continued. Eri you're going to be with me as we cheer for your daddy. Eri got excited about being able to watch her daddy competing with her grandfather.

Eri played with her friends at the park. while the woman flirted with him until one of them recognized him. Oh my god it was you, your the guy who sang and healed that couple at the wedding. The other ladies looked Izuku and looked at their friend confused. The lady pulled out her phone and played the video. One of the ladies said I didn't think you were a healer with your build. Izuku began to blush I think it's time for me to go. please don't leave yet, could you please sing us a song one of the ladies asked. Izuku looked over to Eri who was having fun playing tag. Izuku pulled up a song it was one of the songs he sang at the wedding. it was heaven by Brian Adams

The ladies were enraptured as Izuku sang to them. Eri stopped playing tag and listened to her father sing. One of the ladies asked him why was he single. You're a powerful healer and you can sing, if I wasn't married I'd love to date you. Are you busy tomorrow one of the ladies asked, i have a sister that is single. My daddy is going to be competing tomorrow. Wait a minute you're competing tomorrow, isn't the UA tournament tomorrow. Eri smiled and said I'm going to be cheering for my daddy. Izuku was bright red at this point. I have to go ladies come on Eri tell your friends goodbye. When they got home Izuku was second guessing himself for singing at that wedding. Oh well what's done is done. His father words echoed in his head, he will go out tomorrow and the world will know who he is.

The next day as Izuku got Eri ready for the tournament, she insisted that she should would wear his hero costume that Momo made for her. All Might smiled when he saw Eri, he picked her up and said wish your daddy luck. You won't be going with him today. Eri hugged Izuku and said good luck. All Might hugged Izuku and said show the world who you are.

As Izuku entered the locker room Bakugo sneered at him and said. I'm going to crush you today nerd, I'm going to show everyone that I'm going to be the number one hero. Kirishima put his hand on Bakugo's shoulder and said calm down, it's just a a compition. Izuku didn't even acknowledge Bakugo, which pissed Bakugo off even more. Izuku was surprised when Todoroki walked up to him. Izuku I want you to to know that I'm going to be the one to beat you today. Everyone stopped as Izuku looked at Todoroki and smiled. I'm sorry Todoroki but I can't let you win today Izuku said. Both men were staring each other down until Ida stepped in between them. Let's calm down Ida said. Todoroki stepped back and said. Today I'm stepping out of your shadow, I will prove to my father that I'm going to the number one hero. Then Todoroki walked away. Izuku got changed and got his head in the mind set of beating all of his opponents.

As the students gathered up by class Momo, Tsuyu, Ochaco and Mina noticed the look of determination on Izuku's face. Ochaco asked Ida what's going on with Izuku. Ida told her how Bakugo and Todoroki challenged Izuku. Before Ochaco could reply the students were. called into the stadium. Bakugo was called to the podium being that he was the highest scoring of the entry exam students. As he stood in front of student body he looked at Izuku and declared that he was going to win. Izuku stood there looking at Bakugo expressionless. while class 1B and the general studies courses screamed out in protest Bakugo and Izuku stared at each other.

In the announcement booth Present Mic looked at Eraser Head and said. Wow what a declaration! It also seems like that statement was directed at another student he continued. It was probably directed at Izuku, he is another strong student in my class Eraser Head said. We know that class 1A has been in the news quite a few times Present Mic said. As Bakugo rejoined his classmates Mineta said you're the reason why everybody hates us. Shut up weakling Bakugo said. if you're not confident enough to be able say that you're going to win you should quit he continued. Yup and that's why everyone thinks that you're an asshole Kaminari said. I don't care Bakugo said. With that attitude you'll be the most unpopular hero ever Sero said. Dude they are right if you don't learn the difference between confidence and cockiness you will be unpopular Kirishima said. What ever Bakugo said.

All Right let's get this party started present Mic shouted. The first event is a race, the student's have to run an obstacle course he continued. Eraser Head explain the route but didn't say what type of obstacles they will be facing. Oh yeah feel free to use your quirks. Izuku couldn't help but let a smirk form on his face. As he looked up at the booth he knew Eri was watching him from.
