Driven to be the number one hero

Chapter 40

The two members of the Shie Hasssiaki entered their headquarters and reported directly to Chronostasis letting him know that they saw Eri in a playground with some very built guy playing with her. Chronostasis knew who the guy was he spent the last three days trying to find any information on him and has been coming up empty. He looked at his underlings and said i want surveillance on that park for the next three weeks i want to know what time they get there and what time they leave don't follow them for now. This guy has to be very well connected because i can't find anything on him and if gets wind of us following him we'll never see Eri again I'll let Overhaul know great job men. 

When Izuku and Eri got home she told Izuku that she never was allowed to go outside to play. The bad people would buy her toys but nobody would play with her. These last couple of days were like a dream to her. She even loves that when she says she had a bad dream that he picks her up and places her on his chest. Eri told him that she can hear his heart and it helps her go back to sleep. For the last two nights Eri has ended up on his chest. Izuku was going to get her a big teddy bear to hold but after hearing that he changed his mind for now. Tomorrow I'm going to introduce you to a girl your age so you can play with her for a while how does that sound Izuku asked. Eri got excited and said ok. But for now i need you to take a bath and wash your hair ok Izuku said. Izuku can you please wash my hair again Eri asked i like that you don't get soap in my eyes she continued. Izuku said ok let me know when your in the tub and ready and I'll wash your hair. 

When All Might walked in Izuku was sitting at the kitchen table in shorts and a tee shirt doing homework. Where's Eri All Might asked. She's in her room asleep for now Izuku said. For now All Might asked. She has been having bad dreams and she walks into my room and i place her on my chest and she eventually goes back to sleep. Dad i asked her about that and she said that hearing my heart calms her down. All Might smiled at his son and simply said your doing great that child doesn't remember what it is to be loved. She never knew what a safe place was until you she met you he continued. Did i do that when i was young Izuku asked. All Might said yes you did but you didn't do it for long. Izuku looked at his father then lowered his head and said i messed up at school today. All Might sat down next to his son and listened. When Izuku was done explaining what happened All Might hugged his son and apologised. I wish i could be there as your father but if i did that people will think that your getting special treatment. I know its not fair to you and how hard you've been working. Izuku hugged his father and this simple act made him feel a little better. The hug was interrupted by a little voice saying she had a bad dream. 

All Might smiled at Izuku and said a fathers job is never done I'll see you in the morning. Izuku got up and walked over to Eri she lifted her arms so that he could pick her up. he laid down on his bed with her on his chest he gently stroked her hair and within a couple of minutes she was asleep. Izuku smiled and fell asleep shortly after she did. 

Izuku woke Eri up and said it's time to get up. After Eri got dressed Izuku fixed her hair he learned how to by watching youtube. He had been up for a while sparring with his father. Izuku made them breakfast while All Might packed their lunch. All Might told Izuku to start taking the car to school I don't want you taking the train for now. Eri needs to get used to normal transportation just like you did. All Might tossed Izuku the keys and reminded Izuku of his appointment. Eri was a little sad that they were taking the car she liked being in the air with Izuku.

When They walked up to the gate they saw Ochaco, Momo, Mina and Tsuyu waiting for them this made Eri happy. As they were walking to class Izuku noticed that a lot of the female student body were staring at him and Eri whispering to each other then giggling as they walked away. Izuku asked the girls if they knew what that was about. The girls acted like they didn't know what he was talking about. 

Bakugo saw Izuku enter he felt his anger turn to hate Izuku actually made him afraid. Then he remembered what the Professor said and then his anger turned to disgust with himself. He would have probably reacted much worse than Izuku had. Bakugo was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice that Izuku walked up to him. Bakugo i want to apologise for how i reacted yesterday i was wrong for that. Bakugo was stunned he really didn't know what to say. It was Kirishima that broke the silence by saying how manly Izuku was for apologising. yeah well forget about it Bakugo said. Just remember this doesn't make us even he continued. Izuku didn't say another word he just went back to his desk and sat down. Eri got up and asked if she could sit on his lap. Izuku reached down and sat Eri on his lap. The girls in the class began taking pictures  when the professor walked in and began the lesson.
