Cover Image: The cover image is pretty good, and makes the genre clear.

Title: Maybe a little on the plain side but I'm assuming it ties into the story more later on.

Blurb/Synopsis: Again it seems a little simple. I'd maybe like a little more insight into what the plot is and more info on the main character.

First Paragraph: A little generic but still intriguing.

Really good imagery, though I was a little confused due to the knife not killing the man, or why he wasn't at least acting like he was severely injured - but perhaps the reason for this becomes clear further in?

However this introduction is an okay start, and we get to see some of their day-to-day life and the main character.

I really like the start of this chapter, though I'd like to know what "little touches" they've added to the room. I like the descriptions and imagery.

Nice intrigue and a bit of background on the character.

The plot moves along quickly which I really like. It's getting more interesting and the stakes have been set. Overall I like the plot and I am excited to find out what happens.

This felt like a shorter chapter, and not as necessary, but it had good imagery. And added some insight into the character and how they might be in over their head - literally.

Filled with action, nice imagery, and easy to picture in my mind. And it has you hoping that the character pulls through.

Conclusion:

Overall, I like the storyline. The characters, while maybe not all that relatable, still have you rooting for them. And the world building is done very well, and doesn't pull you out of reading which is excellent!

I look forward to seeing how the main character grows and deals with their new circumstances!
