Issac, Navia, and I had just made it to my place from leaving the mall. I placed my stuff in my room then went back into the living room. I took off my jacket and threw it to the side. We were currently on the main topic I was constantly avoiding since New Years, a few days ago.

"-So you're telling me that you still haven't told her that you're leaving?!" Issac questioned me as I plopped down on the couch. Navia sitting in the chair. I pressed my lips together and nodded; "...yeah".

"God...SKYLAR!" Issac quickly became frustrated with me. That wasn't anything new. "No need to yell" I pouted. "Oh, there's a need!" Navia says. "I mean why the heck are you delaying on telling her you're leaving?" She questioned.

"I don't know..." I sunk into the couch. "Really?" Issac asked. "I don't!" I told them. "What were you thinking, Sky?" Navia asked.

"I- I don't know, okay?! It seemed like a good idea at the time!" I stated.

"What do you think she'll do when she finds out? What're you going to do then, huh?" Issac asked with sass. "I'll figure something out, okay?" I told him. "You don't have to figure nothing out. You just have to tell her" He responded while pulling out his phone. "She'll understand" Navia adds.

"Or she won't understand and she'll hate me" I pointed towards Navi and pressed my lips together with a head tilt.

"Sky, Dakota isn't like that!" Navia smiled.

"You're making this million times worse for yourself than waiting the shit out" Issac butts in. "I know" I frowned. "What're you so afraid of?" Navia asked, moving closer to me. "I'm not afraid, Navi" I answered, scoffing.

"Then why can't you tell her?" She asked. "I can't. I just can't, okay? I'm in too deep!" I stood up from the couch and walked towards the edge by Issac. The front door open, Dylan and my girlfriend walked in, which I didn't realize until afterwards; "I mean Dakota will be so much better off if she-".

"Dakota will be so better off if she what?" Kody questioned. "Dakota!" My eyes widen in shock and I removed myself from the end of the couch again. "I'm here too, loser" Dylan says. I rolled my eyes and pushed him to the side.

"Guys, look, it's... Dakota!" I walked up to her and gave her a hug.

Dylan chuckled and went upstairs.

"Hey" Navia waved. "'Sup, D" Issac says. "Hey guys" Dakota smiled as I let her go. "So, are y'all going to tell me what I'm better off doing?" She questioned while moving towards the couch to take a seat.

"Actually, Sky wanted to tell you that she-" I hit Navia's arm. "Ow!" She whined. "Shut up" I said through my teeth. "Uh...okay?" Dakota looks at Issac and he shrugs.

"Should we go bowling tonight?" Kody asked out of nowhere as I was glued to my phone. "I'm down." Issac answered. "Bowling? I'm in!" Navia smiled. "Really? Great!" Dakota beamed.

"Sky?" Kody questioned; "Sky?".

"Hm. Yeah?" I looked up at the girl sitting beside me.

"We're thinking about going bowling. Are you up for it?" Kody asked. "I'm not really-" Issac and Navia answered for me. "She'll love to!" They both said. The room went silent and I look at my two friends with a glare. "Okay? What's really going on here?" Kody asked us.

"Nothing!" We all said in unison.

"Guys." Dakota smacks her lips; "You're all acting really weird right now.".

"No we're not!" Navia and Issac quickly pulled out their phones to avoid this conversation.

"Yeah...Whatever" Kody turns back to me; "So are you up for bowling or not?".

I gave her a slight smile. "Of course! It'll be fun." I said. "You sure?" Kody asked, grabbing my hand. I squeezed hers and nodded; "Yeah".

"Cool" She sounded skeptical of my response but shrugged it off.

"We should probably go now." I said, checking the time, "You guys ready?".

"Yeah." Issac says as Navia nods her head, putting her phone in her purse. "We're taking my car" Dakota blurted out as she and I both stood up from the couch. "Fine with me" Issac replied. I placed on my shoes before grabbing my jacket that was thrown to the side earlier.

Leaving the house, I locked up before getting in the passenger seat of Kody's Lexus.
