Later, back in Dakota's suite at the hotel, she and Skylar lay in bed together, tangled in each other's arms and legs as they watched a new show on Netflix. Dakota's earlier unexpected meeting with Javon had filled her mind, but she pushed it aside as much as she could and focused on her girlfriend. It didn't seem like a thing to bring up, so she didn't.  It wasn't like they were ever going to see each other again. The odds of that would be a billion to one. Dakota wasn't going to spend her time thinking about that.

She was here for Sky and Sky only.

Speaking of, after adjusting her position to be more comfortable, Sky rested her head on Dakota's chest. She found it to be highly comfortable as she got to listen to Kody's heartbeat and enjoyed the way her chest would rise and fall in a rhythmic manner. It was like music to her ears. While the soft glow of the TV screen reflected off their faces and cast a warm light around the room — Skylar twisted her lips to the side and rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry for the way I reacted this morning" Sky apologized, breaking the comfortable silence they both laid in.

"You always try to find the good outcome of things, and I... I just don't see Sav and I working as friends after everything" Sky stated.

"And I honestly don't want it.".

"We're best where we're at" Sky added with the hopeful mind that Dakota would see things her way.

The girl couldn't be mad at Sky for speaking the truth, no matter how much she didn't like it. And maybe Dakota did go too far by pressing the situation more than she should have. "Yeah... You're right" Dakota eventually agreed. "I can't force it, and I should've been more open to how you would feel about it" She said, playing with the brunette's hair. "I'm sorry" Kody apologized. "I say fixing my phone did us a solid" Sky joked, lifting her head to look up at Dakota, completely ignoring the show they had picked out.

"Oh, really?" Kody playfully sassed as Sky's fingers lightly traced patterns on her thin fabric nightgown. "Mmhm" the New Yorker hummed as she found herself face to face with Dakota again. "Sky..." Kody's cheeks rose as her girlfriend straddled her and tucked her braids behind her right ear. Sky could only admire her looks at that moment. Dakota had taken an hour-long shower and done her night routine before getting into bed. Kody's essential oils made her smell like vanilla, and Sky couldn't get enough of it. Playing with the ends of her braids, Sky leaned forward for a kiss.

She had planned to end it there and call it a night but the kiss only deepened the second their lips separated and connected again.

Sky's hands roamed freely against Kody's waist-covered nightgown before they slipped inside and felt the rim of Dakota's (her) shorts.

The actress's hands softly caressed and squeezed Kody's warm skin as they took a small break from their make-out session while Sky's lips planted soft kisses along Kody's cheek and jawline.

"Ha..." Kody breathed out as her smile faded and returned when Sky's lips were closer to her ear. "Are you okay with this?" Sky whispered, her thumbs rubbing against Kody's snatched figure. Sky lifted her head and carefully studied Kody to see if she was uncomfortable in any way. "I know that we talked about it and everything, but I just wanted to check with... you". Dakota's hands ran through Sky's brown hair as she stared into her hazel eyes, smiling.

"Yes, Sky. It's okay, I promise" Kody reassured her. "Good" Sky nodded before confidently returning to her actions. "Actually!" Dakota blurted out as Sky stopped kissing her neck and looked up at her through her lashes. "Baby?" Sky questioned with knitting eyebrows, confused. "Actually... I just have to tell you something before we do anything else" Kody said hesitantly, fiddling with Sky's silver chain and frowning at the thought of her reaction.
