Harry woke up with a start. All he had dreamed were beautiful golden eyes that sparkled. He cursed for not thinking of grey before he was swarmed by people.

"HARRY?! ARE YOU OK!?!?" He heard Hermione scream as she wrapped her arms around him. "Step aside girl." Harry heard Cornelius Fudge say. She blatantly refused to Harry's shock and suddenly he felt a wave of affection for his friend Hermione. "Tell me everything my boy." Fudge said as he kneeled down next to Harry. "Cedric..." Harry whispered before he began to cry. Hearing people being pushed away he felt arms around him. But they weren't Hermione's, opening his eyes he almost gasped in shock. Mrs Diggory had her arms around him and was pulling him into a tight hug. "Take your time dear, tell us what happened." She soothed as she pulled away to face him, smiling kindly. Harry took a shaker breathe before revealing what had transpired that year. The falling for Cedric. Becoming boyfriends, realising that Cedric was his one and true mate, his soulmate. The third task. And finally the graveyard and how Voldemort had risen to power and murdered his love, his Cedric. Mrs Diggory broke into sobs as she hugged Harry even tighter than before. "Oh Harry, I am so sorry. My son and your love is dead. Please come live with us. Maybe we can heal each other's broken hearts." She said as she smiled at him kindly while tears dripped down her rosey cheeks. Those cheeks that were just like Cedric's Harry thought. "The hell you are, if Harry is going to be living with anyone it's going to be with his god farther's." Harry heard a voice from behind. The crowd turned around and many squealed. "SIRIUS BLACK!" There at the entrance to the hospital wing was Sirius and his husband Remus. Harry's beloved godfathers. "Sirius! Remus!" Harry cried happily but still overwhelmed with sadness and grief. One of the Aurors made a lunge for Sirius, however he transformed into his dog animagus and bounded toward Harry. Jumping on to Harry's bed he transformed back into his human form. "Sirius!" Harry cried again as he hugged his godfather tightly. "How are you doing cub?" Sirius said as he stroked his godson's hair. "Oh Sirius! My soulmate is dead! And there's a homicidal maniac trying to kill me! I don't want to die!" Harry cried into his godfather's shoulder. The audience was to stunned to speak. Apart from Hermione and Ron who of course knew of Sirius's innocence. "It's going to be ok cub! Remy and I won't let anyone touch you." He reassured as he hugged Remus close and the three hugged each other tightly. "Harry get away from him!" Fudge cried. "No please he's innocent. I love him! I need him! Please don't take my godfather away." Harry pleaded to a perplexed Minister. Harry sighed before putting his wand to his temples and a silver coil of magic was pulled from his head. He swished it into the air as it formed into a picture. The memory replayed into Wormtail's confession and the learning of Sirius's innocence.

The room gasped as the memory played out before vanishing into the air. Some of the Aurors got down on their knees apologising and begging for forgiveness. Most of them were to stunned to speak or move, one of them even fainted. Fudge after what felt like hours but I'm sure to you or me would have been around five minutes finally spoke, coughing nervously. "It is my decision as Minister of Magic to clear Black of all charges and to have his criminal record stricken from the record." Suddenly a certificate appeared and as soon as it had done, it magically set fire and burned till it was nothing but ashes. Remus squealed with joy as he hugged Sirius. "You're free Siri. YOU'RE FINALLY FREE!" He cried happily but his attention almost instantly shifted to Harry.  "Harry we are gonna help you get through this ok?" Remus stated as he gripped his beloved godson's shoulders. Harry began to nod but it quickly faded into a shake of the head. "I don't think I can get through this Remus." Harry whispered so quietly that if it weren't for his werewolf hearing he wouldn't have heard. Remus fought back tears as he hugged his cub tightly. Moony within him howled in dismay as he felt the distress of Harry, his cub, as did Padfoot within Sirius. Struggling to think of what to do, Sirius changed into his dog formed and started Harry's face desperate to hear him laugh. "Haha, Sirius! Sirius stop! No Sir-" Harry continued but to his shock he heard the distinct sound of howling coming from his mouth. He looked around to see the horrified faces of everyone around him except for the black dog of Padfoot in front of him who was practically jumping with joy. Looking down Harry jumped out of his skin as he howled and barked loudly. They were paws... with fur... HE HAD FURY PAWS! HE HAD A TALE. WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?!? He thought. "Harry... I'm going to get you a mirror... just don't freak out ok...?" Harry heard Hermione say, when she finally did Harry was beyond stunned. There in front of him was not his own reflection, but that of a majestic German shepherd. He growled in surprise before bounding off out of his bed, out of the hospital wing and as far from everything as possible, if it were possible for animals to cry then he would be doing. Sirius wasted no time and followed him. The two dogs bounded into the night until finally Harry tired and stopped by the black lake. Out of sheer exhaustion Harry transfigured back into his human form and lay flat on his back panting. Sirius shuffled next to him, hitting himself for grinning like an idiot because of his godson's transformation, AND ANOTHER DOG NO LESS! Sirius thought. "I'm so done with this Sirius. I just want to leave." Harry said looking far off. Sirius heart fell at seeing Harry like this. And in that moment he made a decision, one that he felt would be in his cub's best interest. "I'm going to pull you out of school. I have a distant cousin called Billy Black and we can live at Black manor together. We will be safe and far away from all of this. But you can still see your friends and everyone else." Sirius said as he scanned Harry's face for any sign of emotion that wasn't sadness. Harry's eyes lit up at this and he hugged Sirius tightly. "Thank you so much Padfoot." Sirius couldn't help but smile at slight mood change. "Anything for you." He muttered as he hugged even tighter.

It had been a few days since the whole ordeal and Harry just wanted to leave. Not baring the looks of people as he passed them. All he could think about was Cedric. His heart ached as if a part of it was now gone like his soulmate was. Harry had backed his trunks and other items he wished to bring with him, and could not wait to move to Cornwall with Remus and Sirius. He would miss the constant contact by his great family he had come to be a part of. But he really did need to just get away from it all. Harry sat on his bed, looking out at nothing in particular, when something caught his eye. Looking closely at it he could make out the faint colour of Hufflepuff yellow. Getting off his bed he slowly moved to the secluded corner where he had spotted the item and pulled it from underneath the furniture. At the contact he nearly gasped. The emptiness inside him was now filled. Memories of his time with Cedric flooded his mind. The day they first met. The day the first slept together. When they had the first task. The ball. And all other memories that held a special place in Harry's heart. However to his confusion instead of grey eyes Harry saw golden eyes. They were just as beautiful as Cedric's grey however the grey would always hold a special place in Harry's heart. He could feel a distant heart beat along with his. And he smiled as he felt warmth. It was completely blissful.

When the haze left he could still feel the distant echo of a heart beat as well as the warmth. However he was now conscious and in the present, not being flooded by senses and memories. Looking down he couldn't help but smile sadly as he saw the scarf Cedric had given him the day before the trial on that cold, perfect day. He hugged himself with it and breathed in Cedric's distinct smell. The smell of honey and vanilla was undeniably his. A thought crossed his mind and he quickly ran out of his dormitory like a maniac. Running into the hall he shouted. "HERMIONE! HERMIONE!" Hermione turned to him surprised but smiled seeing her best friend finally sporting an expression that wasn't depression. "Harry?! You're up? What is it?" She asked kindly. "Can you cast a spell on this scarf so it preserves Cedric's smell?" Harry asked only now realising how sad it sounded. Hermione tried to his tears behind a sad smile. "Of course." She nodded and took the scarf. "Presvio," she muttered as a faint gold spark shot from her wand and fixed itself within the piece of clothing. "All done." She smiled, content she had helped her dear friend. "Thanks Hermione I love you so much." Harry said and looked as if he was about to leave but then stopped. "Hermione..." Harry said slowly, eyeing her cautiously. "Yes Harry?" She asked sweetly. "Can I tell you something?" Harry asked. "Of course you can anything?" She said putting a hand in his shoulder. Sighing he smiled and looked into the distant. "It might sound crazy. But there is a feeling within me that I will see Cedric once again and that he's out there... somewhere..." Harry continued to look into the distant blissfully. "Harry..." Hermione began slowly, thinking of how best to say what she was thinking, but before she could finish Harry interrupted her. "Forget it, I know it's crazy anyway thanks so much Hermione see you later." Hermione was about to chase after him but something told her he wanted to be alone.

Many believe Harry will never see Cedric again. But I believe they are wrong. Never... is a very long time...

Cedric's eyes flutter open. He grimaced as he woke with less than a second of beyond agonising pain filled his body before he was left feeling weak, and yet stronger than he had ever felt in his life. He was in a place he did not recognise. It was all so confusing, he could see individual blades of grass that were right in front of him. But also he could see the far mountains clear as day. He could hear the wind that whipped through his hair and somehow he could also hear the flap of a birds wings. Shooting up he instantly thought of Harry. "Woah there, are you ok? Can you tell me your name?" A man asked. Cedric turned to see a bleach blonde with golden, sparkly eyes. Who's skin was pale as snow. However despite this he had a warm, reassuring smile that put Cedric at ease. "My name is Cedric." He finally stuttered. "Well Cedric... we have a lot to talk about. But first off, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Carlisle Cullen." He said as he beamed at me however there was something in his eyes that Cedric could vaguely see, was it sadness? No pity? He thought.
