Aileen Carol Wuornos, born on the 29th of February 1956, died on the 9th of October 2002, she was 46 years old when she died, she was an American serial killer in 1989-1990, while she was engaging in street prostitution along highways in Florida, she shot dead and robbed seven of her male clients.
Wuornos claimed that her clients had either raped or attempted to rape her and that all the homicides were committed in self defence, Wuornos was sentenced to death for six of the murders and on the 9th of October 2002 after 12 years on Florida's death row, Aileen was executed by lethal injection.
Wuornos murdered seven men in 12 months, the victims are listed here; Richard Charles Mallory (51, murdered on the 30th of November 1989), David Andrew Spears (47, murdered on the 19th of May 1990), Charles Edmund Carskaddon (40, murdered on the 31st of May 1990), Peter Abraham Siems (65, murdered either in June 1990 or on the 4th of July 1990), Troy Eugene Burress (50, murdered July 31st 1990), Charles Richard "Dick" Humphreys (56, murdered on the 11th of September 1990) and the final victim was Walter Jeno Antonio (62, murdered on the 19th of November 1990).
On the 9th of January 1991, Aileen was arrested for an outstanding warrant at The Last Resort Biker Bar and on the 31st of January 1992, she was sentenced to death and at 9:47am EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) on the 9th of October 2002, she was pronounced dead after the lethal injection, her last meal was a black coffee.
