I started to put all of my new things away. I put all of my clothes in the empty dresser. Granted there were only a few outfits, I could make it work.
I put my hairbrush and toothbrush next to each other on top of the dresser. I kept my personal products in my dresser so none of the boys saw them.
I kept my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in my room. I would just bring them into the bathroom when I showered. I put them on top of my dresser as well. Now my room didn't look empty anymore.
Now, I needed entertainment. I had nothing to do and I had no idea who was home. I laid down on my bed. My eyes grew heavy and I was out cold.

"DINNER!" I heard Darry's voice boom through the house. I jumped. I didn't even realize that I fell asleep. I quickly brushed my hair with my new hairbrush and went into the kitchen.
It was only Darry, Pony, and Soda tonight. What a relief, I didn't want to be in a big group tonight anyway.
Tonight was mac and cheese night. One of my favorite foods. Mac and cheese is legendary. Darry made it really well too.
"Darry, this is really good." I complimented.
"Thanks, at least someone takes time to appreciate the cook." Darry said, eyeing Sodapop and Ponyboy. I snickered as they both stopped eating to look at him.
"It's really good." Soda said, snickering. We both laughed.
"Yeah, thanks Darry, it's delicious." Pony said. All three of us were laughing now. Darry rolled his eyes.
"Ya'll are too much for me." Darry said, chuckling. (I feel like dinner at the Curtis house would be fun. If Pony and Darry aren't arguing of course.)

The next morning, I woke up with a really bad cramp. I got out of bed and had 'that' feeling. I grabbed a pad, and went downstairs. I was in a bad mood even though nothing happened.
Just as I suspected. My period. This is just great.
"Oh shit, DAMN IT!" I yelled very loudly. Louder than I meant.
I left the bathroom after freshening up a bit. I got startled by Soda, who just so happened to be passing by. I just remembered I had work today.
"Are ya alright, ya don't look too great." Soda asked.
"I'm fine." I sighed, trying not to sound annoyed. I wasn't mad at him, just mad in general.
"Alright, we leave in half an hour.
"Affirmative." I said, giving him a salute. He chuckled.
I went into my room, getting a hair tie. I got into my DX uniform. I put jeans on of course. They also looked great with the uniform.
I was wondering if Johnny was here so he could do a french braid for me. I walked into the living room on the couch, watching cartoons.
"Johnny, can ya braid my hair again?" I asked.
"Sure." He shrugged. I smiled.
He did even better this time and there were very few fly-aways. Only a few strands, barely noticeable unless you were deliberately looking for mess.
"Thanks, you are getting really good, like almost perfect." I complimented.
"Oh, thanks." Johnny said. I nodded and smiled.
